company policy is not the contract guy...its managements book of how they handle daily issues.....
get it now?
they have a corporate policy manual
an administrative policy manual
and a maintenance policy and procedures manual also.
and various labor group individual contracts

company policy is to abide by it as agreed to by the IAM and the US Airways,inc.

guy...company policy is how they run their company...then they agreed to othr ules with each labor group through contracts which work together with company policy.
awa has a company policy manual of some sorts,i guarantee it.its managemnets book on how they operate.

i told you or someone else that that language says the contract cannot be modified without a mutual approval between the two parties and it means by the IAM which constitutes the voting body of members for any mod's to the contract.
no stroke of the pen law of the land.

I will not sit down and pay the IAM DUES FOR 3 or 4 YEARS.

You won't take a paycut, that is why there are transition negotiations, but since you are not the brightest bulb in the box, no one would expect you to understand that.
