The West brought 140 airplanes to the merger, you can quit trying to steal the jobs of the Captains flying those 140 airplanes.
I just took an A330 FO bid......PHX holds no interest for me, which is what most of the East pilots have been telling you. However, can you come up with a number of how many west pilots, 15 yrs junior to me, would love to bump me outta my seat, intead of them being an A320 FO?
Ya see, the right seat of the A330 plus PBGC money pays more than a PHX A320 left seat. Sure, I would make another $17k or so if I could take a Cpt bid in PHX.....BUT IT AIN'T WORTH IT! I have no interest in PHX.
However, I have all my interest in protecting my East job from some guy 15 yrs junior to me.

So let me get this straight.
You just took a bid on an airplane whose fleet size has more than doubled post merger...I.e. You did not bring that job to the merger.
And this airplane flys routes that were added post merger, you did not bring that to the merger either!
And you do not like the fact that my BS job in PHX pays substantially more than the job you were about to lose and you do not like the fact that Nic put me WAAAAY ahead of junior guys like you, so you support a scab union to ensure you get all the benefits of the merger?
Does that sum it up junior?
Obviously, your clinging to the NIC has caused you to lose some ground, however, there is no way for you to butt in line....so, it's a wash anyway.

I want to make darn sure every east poster on this board knows for a fact that the Nic is it at LCC once separate ops ends. Oh, BTW, looks like separate ops ends with the merger.
Also, i suggest you ask your rep or union lawyer how long they are going to keep their little secret from you.
I attended the PHL roadshow and heard what is in store. It appears that the West pilots were the ones missing info, according to previous posts.
