Delta Labor Relations thread.

Neither of them are "our" threads.
Oh, and no.
Ok. Well here's the unfortunate reality then. The IAM has cut off financial assistance for the ramp drive. The reason being is that there are too many keyboard warriors and not enough real warriors willing to take up arms for the fight.

A former District 141 Lead Organizer has informed Kev that it's his firm belief that Kev and his (co workers) should give up the fight. That if they were "ever" to organize Delta would more than likely outsource all stations except "maybe" ATL and Cargo would also be gone.

Now the fact that Kev has not argued with this man at all has to lead me to truly think that Kev agrees with this man as well.

Kev has also now since the money dried up taken to calling the Airline District 141 out publicly on all sorts of issues. My guess would have to be that it's sour grapes that the spigot has been turned off?

Kev remains in hiding behind Social Media pages and will not put his neck on the line to do what it takes to get cards in and "gain" more assistance from the leadership in the IAM. That's the fact as I see it Jack.

Now this of course does not speak for the FA's who still have some momentum and because of that are being provided resources. They have a shot at it still.

But if more rampers are like Kev who is perhaps crying in his spilt milk bemoaning "why aren't they doing something for us" rather than doing something for themselves. Then there is no ramp drive and it's NEVER going to happen.

IMO of course.

Let me ask you something Kev. If you really want it so bad do you have the cajones to take your fight to the front lines? Are you willing to transfer to ATL where you know if you put yourself out there you might have to take on some heated fire?

I want to see you put your money where your mouth is or your neck on the line.

Transferring to a different station doesn't take "cajones," and with the respect, the fact that you think it might says that you really don't know how things work over here. Far easier to dodge the fire in a crowd of thousands than a smaller one. You'll just have to trust me on that one.

At any rate, we have some great activists there that are doing good work, and frankly know their audience far better than I could hope to. And when they need help, it's only a flight away. We do work with airplanes, ya know...

I wish you well in your endeavors then.

Come on Kev, it ain't all that bad.

You make it sound like you are suffering in all kinds of hell working at DAL without a union.

Are you?

He's fine or he would have moved already. Don't let him tell you otherwise.

Moved where? AA? I'm much more interested in improving where I'm at than starting over at Day 1.
I doubt that you would ever truly be satisfied even if you got everything you wanted and more. I don't think you know where you want to set your own bar.
