Sorry I wasn't able to fire that postcard off to AWA320. I used my last stamp to send my application to USAPA right after I voted.

I did notice, though, that our moderator never removed the comment for which I had my vacation. Maybe he agrees?

PS...Our section 6 is open and meeting are scheduled. I hope for your sake that you will represent the west pilots as well as you intend on representing the east pilots.

No one has walked up to me when I was in uniform with my yellow lanyard and shown anything but support for USAPA.

I invite anyone to do so. I will be glad to have a discussion with anyone who would like to approach me and ask a sincere question. If you would like to approach me and have a less than sincere discussion, I will be more than glad to dance with you.

USAPA's number one goal is to throw out a federal binding arbitration because they state that it's not fair and that date of hire is the norm in the industry(??? not for the last 16 years)! GREED & DISHONESTY seem to be the trademarks of a USAPA union.

There is no dishonesty in protecting our pilots from a weak and ineffective "Union" or "Association" whatever the name du jour is today.

Benefits EQUAL to all that ALPA offers it's members are not sercured yet, are they?

Thats a bad thing? Where does a union concept have to be born then? BTW. Do you have a clue what the founders were returning from? Thats right Herndon. After 500 or so of our pilots attended a meeting with Prater. After he said that ALPA would not do anything, the seeds for USAPA were sown.

I commute also. I don't get that feeling at all. I think it's the "Hope it doesn't happen to me syndrome".

I hope we represent all pilots equally under the USAPA Constitution and ByLaws.

Yes, yes indeed: It is truly silly of us to not simply accept that "It's ALL about You" out west..and just all roll over and play dead for your exclusive benefit. Your "great girl" seems completely hysterical about not having her 4 AWA years instantly become worth..umm..what? = 22 or more out east? Yup..there's a "logical" reason for which to throw a fit. Sorry...not impressed. Keep those video links coming though. Outside of the "Gimmee!!..It's ALL about MEEEE!! crowd encamped under the AWA/ALpo banner..few will be impressed by much other than the audience's hysteria, and "righteous" anger.

You may well have a valid point sir. From the manifesto of AWA's "Righteous Position", as expressed by a major AWA "War" drum beater:

Exactly who's GREED are we actually seeing demonstrated? East beliefs are that none should be displaced out west. The west "battle cry" is clearly seen via: "I want the captain seat.....and most of all, I want every single east pilot to pay for it". If you're actually blind to the absurd hypocrisy of your "Greed" claims...just know that it's not lost on others outside of your little "ME!, It's ALL entirely about ME!!" cult. "There's this big cookie jar out east..and I WANT it ALL!!...NOW!!" just isn't any universally respectable notion..regardless of the self-deluded fantasies clearly held out west to the contrary.

Side thoughts on different issues:

The latest on the MDA DFR: Alpo: "As we have pointed out, the MDA plaintiffs’ claims about an allegedly “erroneous” seniority list are just not supported by the facts." This is going to really be fun to watch. Alpo: "Those guys were furloughed!!...They just don't count!!" Opposing: "Weren't they actually working though?..specifically at jobs you told them to take?..and without any reasons to assume themselves to then be dumped off your radar?....Alpo: "Ummm/squirm....That doesn't matter!!..They're furloughed and they just don't matter or count for anything!!" Opposed: "You were still taking their dues money, weren't you, and you never indicated to them that they could even possibly be totally disregarded by you....like you actually then did?" Alpo: Well, Naturally!!...what a completely stupid question!!...Harrumph!. Of course we took their dues money!! That's never meant that we really have had to actually represent anyone before!!...What's your point?" Over-simplified; yes..but this is going to be some really good grins to watch play out. Go get 'em MDA people!!
