Good point. I'll go with a Silver Star at least...naah..Heck: Let's just put him in for The Medal..notify congress and get on it asap....Perhaps "The Army of Leonidas" has it's own decorations that would be more appropriate though:

1) Knight of The Order of Alpa with special citation of: Dispenser of Hot Air Ad Astra
2) FUDus Maximus Cross with Oak Leaves
3) Jumpseatus Excellare Ribbon with Staples
4) AWA Cross with ClusterF--k

And of course:

5) Knight Commander of the Sacred Order of St Nic

Don't forget the Republic of Hawaii ETOPS Expeditionary Medal.

"you want to be able to cut in another line" Now THERE'S a truly "bad conclusion". I've ZERO interest in taking anyone's seat out west...period. you've combined Chikfilet and Sabarros. There then exists ONE "line"...period.

LOL - yeah, I got about 10 minutes from the house and realized I botched that reply.....guess that's what I get for staying with the apples and oranges "change lines" analogy. Once it hit me, however, I sorta expected your reply to be "I don't mind if they get in my line if they're been waiting longer, as long as I can do the same in their line."

But as you say - it's not about changing lines but rather combining lines. Those who were facing a short wait in their faster moving line should just suck it up and endure the longer wait while those that faced a longer wait go in front of them - getting a shortened wait in the process.

Just out from USAPA:

In our continuing effort to bring your union to you, USAPA will hold our fourth Road Show on March 19th, tentatively from 9 am to 4 pm in the PHX Airport terminal. Exact times and facilities have yet to be determined, so details to follow. USAPA Officers, volunteers and legal counsel will be on hand to answer your questions and address your concerns.

why do some people think they can put there 2 cents in when it comes to pilot stuff... MYOB And us pilots be.... ttfn

Brief hijack---

I guess I'm getting old, but this kind of alleged written correspondence bugs the hell out of me.

"there" should be their in this context.

"MYOB"...Googled: Mind your own business.
"And us pilots be"...Incomplete thought. Your guess is as good as mine s to what is meant here.
ttfn....Googled: TA TA For Now.

Is any form of English grammar still taught in grade school anymore? Sheesh!

Sorry, end of rant. I feel better now.

Also end of thread hijack, but at least you now know some of what was posted.

Those nonstops to Phoenix are so inconvenient. Maybe even a better excuse can be made during the election...
I recopied this for you so you can't miss it.

Unlike our ALPA FPL lifers, the USAPA leadership is on their own time.

Cue "Blazing Saddles" "Dang nab it! russer.ain' nohow..etc" "Now, who can argue with what Gabby said?".... "Not only was that authentic frontier gibberish., but..."

Looks like he's deleted the post altogether.

A pity. We've likely suffered the tragic loss of a literary masterpiece, now forever lost to posterity.

On a more pertinent note: It appears that USAPA's indeed coming to PHX before the election polls open. It will be interesting to see what feedback's forthcoming from the west, both before and after.

AAwww You know it will be something cute. Maybe prechilill will meet them at the airport.
Naw. On second thought not a good idea.

I submit that the most trying tasks are ahead. It's my earnest belief that USAPA will have little trouble in winning the election, and any continuance of ALPA would certainly prove utterly disatrous, based upon ALL observable events thus far. The toughest issues will be those regarding the establishment of any semblance of east-west cohesion after the dust settles. The NIC debacle's produced such overflowing rancour on both sides that it'll likely take "awhile" for much in way of meanigfull, mutual dialog to even occur. My first experiences posting here were of the "Ummm...Guys?..This Nic thing's NOT gonna' actually work...can we talk?" and degenerated over time, to far more combative and wholly disrespectfull stances in general. I've not actually enjoyed the vitriolic exchanges on these boards since May, and found myself developing increasing levels of irritation and disdain over time. It's quite certain that much the same has taken place within the west people. Engineering a better future will take some major efforts from both sides...at least by way of understanding...for starters.

Meanwhile? Let's Vote!

I appreciate USAPA's continued efforts to modify their story as the weather changes... we can't come to PHX- no time... wait, we can. Nope, sorry, we can't. Oh, we just found some time to take our circus act out west.
Here is a little advice, if you want to be taken seriously by all pilots, you need to visit all pilots and stick to your plans/ schedule. How many times has the west endured promises for a USAPA visit just to be disappointed later? Hopefully you guys will show up in Phoenix this time, as promised. At least you set a date this time...
