Airbus319 in mobile

Captain Reality,
I believe 591 and 514 have reps monitoring the outsourcing. They should be able to give you a full report. Schiable is the Line Rep I hear. Haven't heard anything though.

Yep. Heard that too. The word is that AA is moving on to the US maintenance program on the 319/321 and that the ones done Mobile weren't going to make it in time to be bridged. The LCs that AA used to do in TUL on other NBs will be done on a phase C on the line. Looks like the TUL boys will be coming out to join us soon.
They can thank themselves and you for that. Did you once claim that our scope would prevent this from happening? Didn't you advise us to vote in this deal to save jobs? With the company's starting point of Delta plus 7 how many jobs will be left in Tulsa as the increased wages boost up the amount of spend on outsourcing? Are you still of the frame of mind that we should forgo wage increases in an attempt to save jobs in Tulsa?

Bob,
Has GP filed a 29d? Isn't it the job of 514, 567, and 591 to enforce the contract language? Who is on the committee to monitor the outsourcing? Why are we reading this here? Did 514 or any of the other M&R locals not know about this? Scope language is only as good as the people enforcing it which apparently you are not.

This Tulsa boy won't. You can kiss my a$$ goodbye!

Bob why is it that all people at aa say that's all they hear from you twu people you voted for it. You don't care about the members just you get 1500.00 month for sending checks out hope you have reciepts for all the expenses you pay because I hear Simone has complained to labor board.

Bob,
It's a violation. Current facilities aren't maxed out. File a grievance and do your job.
???where does it say that our facilities have to be maxed out before outsourcing?

The CBA you all approved lets AA outsource 35% of maintenance budget can be outsourced.

Where were you and why arent you filing a grievance on the 757s, 767s, and 777s that are outsourced and being outsourced?

You havent said a word about that.

Read what you voted YES for. If Tulsa says NO to AA and they close the facility do you really think a Grievance from Danker will keep it open? You cant agree to vote away Scope and system protection and then grieve that they send out the work. As long as they don't go against the 35% spend they are covered. A few more checks on the line, OT and a raise will likley be enough to let them close Tulsa once the MD-80s are gone either way. Once again, thats what you voted for.

Why don't you file? If I filed a Grievance I would not be considered the rightful Grievant. Remember? How many shares did you get from the 757 Grievance settlement? We got nothing on the line because we were told that even though our lost shift pay, Holiday pay, 17.5 % wage cut etc etc was to save those jobs that we were entitled to none of the shares generated by the 757 settlement because it wasn't our work but any and everyone in OH, whether they worked 757 or not was.

Who is Simone?

Tell her to contact her Regional VP or Chairman and we can set up a time where she can see any receipt she wants. I have them all scanned and in Quickbooks.

Our Financial reports are posted on our website, so are our minutes. Don't know of any other Local that does that. If someone needs more detail and they want to see receipts they don't have to go to the main office in Dallas, we can setup a screen share with their chairman in whatever city they are from and they can see whatever they want.

BTW I was one of the Presidents who made videos urging our guys to vote NO. IIRC Overspeed said the videos were full of lies and disinformation, but pretty much exactly what we said would happen with a YES vote is happening. Only one A&P mechanic in the room voted YES to bring that deal back and that guy was from STL and around 70 years old. The rest were Title II, Painters and Fleet Service clerks. Overspeed was in favor of the deal but he tries to spin the blame on what he voted YES for on us. He voted to allow 35% of spend to be outsourced then says that we should grieve it and aren't doing our jobs when the company sends stuff out that he voted to let them send out. When the MD-80s go, and either the JCBA or even the mid term wage adjustment provision kick in even more work will be allowed to be outsourced because thats what he voted for.

third grade english articulation is still an issue.

Bob,
It's a 29d grievance. I can't file it since it's a Presidential grievance. How does a person become a senior rep without evening knowing how a 29d works?

700UW,
Read our contract. The 757, 767, and 777 were specifically called out as part of the 35%. Any other work above that goes towards the 35% is for peak work. I asked thie question when GP and Bob put out their letters Nd videos urging a no vote.

Danker needs to file a grievance or GP because clearly this work is not within the Scope and the letters in the contract. The locals need to do their job and stop Seymour and Wroble from running roughshod all over our CBA. Bob needs to stop saying you voted for it and actually stand up and do his job. These guys seem more willing to fight and have emergency board meetings about their UBC and how to next sue the TWU then they are at enforcing existing contract language.

Bob,
Your videos aren't right. You are allowing it to happen because you are so fucused on your anti TWU and anti Little agenda you are being intentionally derelict in your duty of enforcing the contract.

You are just as able to file against or stop this as I am. You are the one who has claimed to be the great protector of OH, so why haven't you filed? As Treasurer I can only file under the same article as you. Given the language you voted in I don't see a grievance.

Even if there was a valid grievance it has to be filed by OH since the 757 settlement and the equity document that your buddies wrote and agreed to established that, even before the BK agreement, we on the line have no right to any of that work. Its their work, 514 and 567 do not see a grievance, talk to them. The fact is you gave that work away with your Yes vote. Once the company goes beyond the 35% spend then they have a grievance, even then, the company could bring line maint back in house, or give us a raise and become compliant.

You do realize its going to get worse don't you? Every time we get an increase in pay that raises the spend and allows more work to be outsourced. So while new aircraft and the retirement of MD80s bring down the total maint spend, increased wages will allow more and more outsourcing and the elimination of jobs primarily in OH.
