The difficulty is in attempting any vision of the actual person via the postings....and...ummm...etc And..of course: you're playing to an older gallery out east. although I once had a full collection of Howard the Duck...I base little on comic book imagery/etc. 😉 Our respective peers, and outlooks are different. My speakers are currently playing out Rimsky-Korsokov..I'm guessing that yours arent 😉

Visual aid to the present dispute = imagine, as we speak, some child yet worried about fitting into his/her 3rd grade class. Now flash forward to your much later airline 'career". This same child now wants the seats/"seniority" of your dearest friends, and is yapping away fiercly with "righteousness". Get some small part of the picture now? 😉

Interestingly enough not one word of this was ever spoken prior to the merger. So you could imagine my surprise when Parker spoke the "B" word. Not one shred of evidence could be seen suggesting anything other than where we were at. We were hiring, taking delivery of new airplanes and we were expanding. Saying we would have been in BK by the end of the year is reaching, but he did say that. From our perspective it was made up to placate the east. You guys have clearly demonstrated in the past how disruptive you could be. Parker was scared he'd piss you off if he told the truth. Kinda like ALPA is now...

How do you work that one through the amazing lens "clearly" in use out there?

No matter. We've got the current mess to deal with as best as we all can. I'll do everything..that's EVERYTHING possible to keep this atrocity, wherein which you might be able to displace, say, a specific Bro of mine, who's survived a good deal of combat, and has flown professionally since the time you were, at best, in grade school, from EVER taking his seat. I've many more in mind than this one example. On a purely selfish note? = I'd far rather have those guys in the shared cockpit than 3 year sorts. The job's far easier, conversation's fully viable..without having to ask "What do you want to do when you grow up?" 😉 In fairness?..I've given up glib answers to that last question long ago 😉

To each his own. Chances of us flying together are slim at best. I understand you are one of the "always cranky" crowd anyhow, and that's no fun to be around...

I truly mean zero offence here, but: Please young sir...from this moment on at least..take NOTHING that the sort of narcicisstic sociopaths/greed infested/it's-all-about-me/ceo/magmnt types EVER say as being other than for their own selfish purposes...PERIOD. This most certainly applies to ANY of the "political" sort as well. You'll live a more pleasant life. Mr Parker had no reason to admit the circumstances prior. You guys weren't then out for more money, and he'd no reason to offer up more than the usual Koolaide. To the likes of Parker?..Between drunken stupors, he likely just cynically laughs about all of us, and how he can pocket so many millions. He's not the only one to attend business school, and I can personally attest to the classes in Lie/Cheat/Steal...although hardly so accurately named.

No, but I've got Van Morrison going on the computer with the Oscar Peterson Trio on deck (love the Night Train) and James Blunt after that. I'm listening to mp3's, by the way...I'm guessing you're not.

I believe that about as much as I believe Doug and Prater. As you said before, those guys are supposed to offer us more money to get a CBA. So if it comes down to money, like you have said over and over, I bet you will be leading the parade east. Sorry, no thanks.

You're correct on the differing musical tastes...with the exception of Van M.

Methinks that we'll have "your attrition" without Nic...and NOTHING that's come from the AWA sector indicates any willingness for fences..so excuse me if I hold your "word" here in little regard I wouldn't want to have to spray the cockpit for the 5% anyway 😉 Just kidding on the last. The few AWA types that I've met have been, on the whole, fairly decent, so long's they weren't in some presumably drug fueled Nic dream...but a few indeed looked in need of a flyswatter. 😉
