Then they should not fight a vote when the times come. I want to GO.....Let's have a vote.
they will care if the mechanics leave. that's a lot of union due$$$$$$$$$$$
Oh for GOD's sake will you PLEASE get your cards in already! NO they won't care anymore. They'll do whatever they have to do without the headaches.

They are fed up and tired of year after year after year after year, so many years of AMFA, AMFA, AMFA. Look at their webpage. They're moving on. They're signing up Vegas and bike Share. They're not talking about this AMFA business anymore.

If you EVER get your cards in and get your vote and actually win it CONGRATULATIONS! Good luck and more power to you.

Like I said, you've bought into it hook, line and sinker !!!! If you get it Jan 5 like everyone should, then you could say that !!! but informational here ---- YOUR NOT!!! so wake up !!! I bet you think because the F/A leaders contacted Doug about the DL raise, and he gave it to them , that he would do the same for Fleet and MTC I suppose too ????? I have news for ya ---- he thinks totally different about the later two groups than he does about the first one !!!!  The Pilots are in a league of their own, obviously so that essentailly leave 3  groups ( UNIONIZED ) that won't get it Jan 5th !!!! There's a reason for this !!! time to wake up and smell the Doug Parker roses !!!!! It has nothing to do with being negative bud at all !!! About 60% of the company will realize this raise immediately ---- the other 40% ----well, who knows if and when those folks will get it if ever !!!

The pilots won't get it unless they agree to the airline's last proposal, just like the rest of us. However, they will probably decide to send that proposal out for a vote as a TA by January 3rd.

The rest of those folks will get it when they ratify a Joint Agreement.

Let me correct you, some of the leadership will not say anything good or bad about a TA they just negotiated, while another "leader" will bad mouth it and all other negotiators, because he's not responsible for the TA they collectively brought back to membership.

Stand corrected.

And just what do you think you would have made from that? You must take up a collection to have your head removed from your vertical smile, better yet I will donate my whole profit check to start you off. You are so sure of your self beveling that its your one and only "Catch me up payday"! Well sir/madame, you are severely misguided to a degree that not even a visit from Dr Phil will cure.
You cannot take a porcupine put it on a bar light it on fire and expect to make licorice.

You're forgetting the fact that the company said this was a reward for SHARED SUCCESS.....For 2014 namely.
ALL employees should be sharing in this.
And spare me the "rest of us will get the 4% when our time comes."
Let me remind you and others that the UA/CO M&R have still NOT reached an agreement with the company.....from 2008!
What makes you think ours will be done overnight when there are so many differences between the AA/US contracts?

What if "ours" goes a couple, a  few or many years without a contract and the "OTHERS get 4% for each of those years?
Are you telling me that if it takes 4 years to get a contract, the company is going to give us 4% X 4 years = 16% raise on top of whatever we negotiate?

PALEEAAASE!

Well, that's the point of giving the 4% to those with a Joint contract, isn't it. So that it doesn't take 4 years to get a JCBA.

Don't get too excited about the September wage adjuster.....UA/CO still has not gotten a contract. The company is in no rush there. So really our "adjustment will be based on AA/US and DL....This will have a negative effect on the potential wage increase without UA in the formula.

The adjustment includes UA/CO and their current pay rates as of September 2015. Since we are continuously told mechanics at AA are the worst paid in the industry that means everyone else is ahead of us and we have nowhere to go but up. Isn't that right?

You hit the nail on the head. They are in no hurry with another potential AMFA vote on the horizon.

On the horizon? It's been 54 years...when is this horizon coming?

UA/CO are nowhere near DL in pay... Since it appears they will not have a new contract anytime soon, our comparison "bar" is greatly lowered.  So if the adjustment uses the factors of AA/US and UA/CO and DL.......guess what?
The average is lowered....
Remember the key word here is AVERAGE...We will not be brought up to DL pay unless UA/CO get DL pay which will force DL to give their mechanics another raise.

We were at the horizon twice..the first time the TWU and company managed to include retired members and they even raised some from the dead.
The second time, admittedly they were outfoxed by the IBT.

Understand something,NYer, you may always support and believe in the TWU, and now the TWU/IAM BS Alliance....Then there are those who will NEVER stop trying to rid ourselves of the TWU.

Again....WHAT IF IT DOES TAKE YEARS?

Even if it does not take years, do YOU think it will be retro?
Because, If it does NOT, then how can you say we will get OURS?

One more thing.....I do not think we have the arbitration clause when we signed on with DP...So there will be NO rush to get a JCBA.....
And what would be the rush if there is NO RETRO?

And some will then sit back and complain (behind an alias of course) about the agreements that they(collectively) ratified.
