Ill give you an example here you jave something called the "oversize belt" for say skis golf clubs etc at LAA uou have one guy manning it thats all he does at US it would be like okay your working these flights keep an eye on the oversize belt too. Having a man at the oversize keepsnthe manpower count up but is a waste

nothing wrong with that. why not man 2 piers in your bagroom with 1 guy?

we need more job-specific shifts to reward seniority. that's my opinion.

you sound like a company bean-counter. why not get rid of the catering jobs? those sound like retirement homes for older fleet lus in clt/phl.

oversize in my station at intl. does much more than just oversize. very important job. lots of tag-offs, lots of aa bags on other airlines' piers 24 piers away from correct piers.

it's a great job because you work by yourself. quality of work life should be a priority. don't have to work with someone complaining to mngt. that a shift isn't necessary.

Let's get this cleared up. Most wanted a faster pace in nego's as the co. and the IAM were ALL ABOUT dragging it out as long as possible for their own advantages, FACT! They didn't want a fast and quick voting process for one freakin day and in person for the intimidation factors. You know this and you are just stirring.

They will have a couple of weeks to read the full text which probably 75% wont do anyway.You have a one day vote,okay i get many people arent used to that but if you can elect a president and congress in one day you shouldnt have a problem.Most people already know how they will vote.Just wondering SWAMT what was the percentage of how many voted on your last contract?although its not a good sample considering you have anout 3k we will have 10X that

Would you want one guy at a hardly used oversize in each city,OR maye another station open OR maybe higher pay for everyone? In your city its a productive job but im sure there is waste you can find,that waste adds up.By the way we did use to cater here but it was outsourced so im not as sympathetic to their plight as i might be

I am almost positive non of the Executive staff was at America West during their BK in the early 90's.

The TWU is setting up the kissing booths at every other gate at your local airport. That's where you will cast your ballot. The SOROS group under the Clinton foundation will over see all ballots are properly and securely tallied and recorded.
Satire of course but who will be running the voting? The Fox in the hen house? Each station relays the numbers over a phone call or email? Without an independent secure company overseeing the voting there is and will not be any accountability on this vote.
