AA and Labor Negotiations-2020

Every time I hear lodge, I think of the Flintstones and the Water Buffaloes. That's how stupid we all look like being a part of this whole BS operation. 4 years of "negotiating" for a one day vote? The Grand Poobah has spoken. Pathetic

I will borrow another user's statement; paraphrased, "4000 members lined up on Pine Street waiting to vote".

Hardly.

The W and 700 are both Association apologists. They'll be trumpeting support regardless of what the organization does or says.

Does anyone know Jim Littles's "Top Secret" location?

You can understand all you want, our contract is going to pass. We better be ready to adapt probably.you as a twu more so..Face it the iam ran a more efficient ramp.or you could say we work harder and thats the way this contract is leaning
I don't see the IAM running the ramp. They work it as the contract allows. From what I've seen here at DFW, mgmt seems to try to run large stations like the small ones. Move people here from there, make everyone as assigned and try to do more with less. You can do that at a small station, but large hubs are a different story. It's a service business and this mgmt team has made an airline with very poor service and ratings. Last summer showed us that. I know they blamed the AMT's for that and that is BS. Maybe some incidents, but nothing near to create the horrendous results at AA. We'll see what this contract has in it, and if it passes and we go to different work rules so be it. I've got a real good idea what the results could be with this mgmt group.

Obsessed?
just ask past and now missing posters, weezal, overspeed, 700, and NY'er if I knew what I was talking about, more so than they did and they worked there or for the union..
I won't speak to the other two but Weezles and 700UW..... those have to be the 2 most manipulative pieces of crap that ever posted on the forums.

I would not believe a word either one of them said if Jesus himself came down from the heavens and hit their tongue with a notary stamp.

Its no you vs me its the truth and if we are going by LUS work rules youll see what i mean.When.we first merged we had roughly the same amount.of flights as LAA yet you had over 30 + more.employees when.my.manager thought we were going to.mirror LAA we upgraded line 10 CC to mirror AA CC work rules
I am not going to say you are wrong because I honestly don't know, I have been laid off for 7 years. That being said when I worked for American Airlines I saw very few career Fleet Service people (20+ years) who had worked the line and not had a major operation (neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee) due to wear and tear from the job. It was so common it was to be expected.

Now having stated that, just how damn hard do you want people to work? Till they liquefy?

I have to ask, do you actually work the ramp in any capacity or do you just sit in an office and soak up air conditioning? Because you sound like a fat, worthless, slob of a crew chief that criticizes ramp workers but has not touched a bag in 20 years. Not saying that is so but I have met many people like that in my career and they all sound....... just like you.

Ill give you an example here you jave something called the "oversize belt" for say skis golf clubs etc at LAA uou have one guy manning it thats all he does at US it would be like okay your working these flights keep an eye on the oversize belt too. Having a man at the oversize keepsnthe manpower count up but is a waste

ALUS78 speaks the truth!!

They interpreted it like i was saying US was better and i didnt mean to imply that at all.

Is that why America West brought bankruptcy management to LUS and then new AA?

United announced today they are cutting 10% of their schedule, putting in a hiring freeze and deferring raises.
Lets watch the association drag their feet on the t.a. to the point of no return.
What a bunch of freaking idiots.
Please sign a card before this drags out even further
