Any contract proposal that has the IAMPF in any way is a no vote for me, getting a foot in the door is a victory
for the ASS. When the next economic downturn hits and AA comes begging for concessions, that nice pay raise
will be gone and the IAMPF will be forced on us to save jobs. Keeping the IAMPF cancer out of our language is a 
must, I did not want the ASS & I did not get my promised vote. Accepting the IAMPF in any way is a concession.

Any contract proposal? Ok how about this one? Any and all aircraft maintenance work brought back in house and a 50% raise?

Your comment kind of made me think of a weed pops up in my yard I'm going to torch and burn the entire yard including the trees.

I'll read the entire proposal when it comes and make my decision after I've dissected it all as a whole package.

A lot of variables here Weez take out de-icing and put in bag room or cargo or catering now what? I wouldn't force the company to go out and buy deicing trucks but where we have them an AA employee should do it. Here at LGA at US  nobody in fleet wanted to do it so they farmed it out.

Those are items I consider our CORE work so they're sacrosanct to me since they're daily items rather than just seasonal.

I'd still even like to see us (actually maintenance now) get cabin service back.

Am I pipe dreaming?

And back when I was in LGA (AA) we had guys who would scarf that OT money up like candy. They even kept you on the clock until the event was over. 3 days of straight OT 24 hours each day. They paid for the overnight stay at the hotel and wanted you back at 5AM.

We get these beetles here on long island if they find one on your maple tree the whole thing has to go. Weez the IAMPF is a beetle to some of these guys

Now you started it . I'm selfish I don't want all these jobs back only to have the company  ask for concessions 2 years from now. Lets work on keeping what we got. I've seen people put ice in beer there is no way I would dilute my favorite beverage

Absolutely understandable especially after 2 hits on it and one was a freakin 40% hit.

That mindset (just be happy with keeping what we have) is a big reason why labor in this country continues to lose.

Fast food workers strike, and here we sit, not even daring to think about regaining core work...

They may want to bring back or inhouse work because they can afford it and the contractors are doing a crappy job. If that's what they want it benefits them as much as us and we certainly shouldn't pay for it out of any of our promised gains.
