That's how this thing works weez, out with the old and in with the new.
Bob looking at your picture I don't think I would consider you new to life. I have old rotted out shoes that look better than you.

But you know all kidding aside. You do seem to enjoy reveling in other people's misery. That does say a lot about you. Something bad happened to you in your journey through life didn't it?

I mean most new hires start in their early 20's and here you are who must have started in his mid 40's. I bet I'm younger than you and I have 21 years and you only have what 5 or 8 years? I've lost track.

Care to share where it all went wrong for you Bob? (See I can be mean too)

I busted out laughing on this one, so no offence taken. Life couldn't be better, really, things couldn't be better, thanks for asking.

Bob your very strong feelings are more than likely wrong. Besides the fact that when the operation is made whole and we are integrated there will be movement. Some cities that are currently staffed by one or the other group will give people the opportunity to move in to those places, others who didn't take the "preferential hiring" opportunity will eventually make their way back in.

The Station Staffing methodology I'm quite sure myself will not remain what it currently is that was forced on the TWU side at the hands of a BK gun. So that change in language will open up opportunities for people to return to places that were closed off to them. It may even open up opportunities to cities that we lost before you even hired on at the airline?

Besides the fact that all the airlines know that the sub contracted companies have been underperforming in customer service and the only way an airline is going to be able to differentiate itself is going to be in providing the most premier product against its competitors.

You do know there's a huge spotlight on those numbers that customers watch don't you? DOT stats.
Customers usually fly whatever is cheapest. It's just a shame the TWU has allowed the membership to subsidize the price of tickets.

Really? You're back again? Please don't respond to what I write anymore. I think I've been pretty decent with you lately and I'm not interested in getting back in to the arguments again with you. They're very annoying to me personally.

Guess someone never heard of 9/11, SARS, Gulf Wars and Fuel prices skyrocketing.

Lets see every Union in the industry has taken some form of concessions since all those events happened.

Why ask a question to something you already know the answer to.

The only thing you ever write about is how thankful you are to the Association. Complaints about their past behavior fall on deaf ears. I don't agree with your stance, therefore I respond.

First off I don't need your decency. I am not seeking your friendship or approval.

What you are really saying is you don't want to hear opposing opinions.

Having annoyed you is at the very bottom of my list of concerns.

I have seen the results of TWU corruption and under the table dealing first hand. I won't sit here and let you represent them like they are a savior. The fact is the TWU is making a lot of money pushing money for jobs and the membership is paying the price.

You really think some six figure UNION boss that represents multiple locals in multiple industries cares about your compensation? The ONLY thing he cares about is keeping headcount and your base wage, the things that line HIS pocket. He could care less about your compensation package as a whole.  If he can push concessions to keep headcount up that is more money in his pocket.

If you want me to stop annoying you wake up and take a look at what is going on around you. You are being played for a fool to line someone else's pocket.

Honestly for how smart you are (I know from reading your post) I don't understand how you can be so blind...................

I not sure, but I think you've been living under a rock. I couldn't care less what the TWU dose with my union dues. This is the tax we pay for working at a airline. As far as the union bosses are concerned, I could also careless what they make or what they do with the money from collecting dues. I said this before, name one person, business, bank, government or politician that isn't corrupt. This is how the system works, and played.

The reality about you is simple. You're a disgruntled currently former employee who unfortunately joined the airline at the wrong time and suffered for that timing. You want to ignore the fact that there was a massive global economic softening and then collapse that led to a Worldwide Global Recession, that didn't just affect airline workers but millions of Americans and created a ripple effect worldwide. You want to point a finger at one tiny basically insignificant entity that at the time were forced to make choices that weren't to your benefit.

I've told you that we're moving on from that and my guess is unless you receive a recall we will be moving on from you as well. You're obsessed with us here for that fact and since this is not a private group page that the members can block your ramblings, we have to continue to read your anger and disappointment like an old lady with tourette's syndrome that yells at the neighbors out the window every time they walk past her house.

You say that you're happy and satisfied in the choice you made after you left the airline but clearly you are not or you wouldn't continue to come here to distract with your ramblings. (And I guess we're stuck with you here)

Back to the important stuff.

Watching Doug today, he had a problem saying those of us still in negotiations will be getting the "United" plus 3 or 7.
His comment was we cannot always go above what someone makes, we can make the same.
My take was wherever United is now is the ceiling in these negotiations. No plus anything...just my take.

Really? I'll have to wait for the video to come up to see for myself. If that's the case I think UA gets 6 weeks vacation more contributed to retirement  and some express work. I hope the negotiators are aware of this. Guys like bob will vote yes for $29.88 no matter what, anyhow

He's right that the leapfrogging has to end sometime. But he already bacpeddled from 7% down to 3% before he instituted the PS plan. I don't think he should backpedal because it's getting a little hot now.

Basically I still expect 3% over the top rate as was stated and assured by Mr Parker.

Oh and to the readers from the company that come here. UAL ramp workers also still have a better PS plan and have almost $2.00 per hour going in to the IAMPF "AND" a 3% company match. So in overall compensation comparing the same 20 year employee over there to myself, I think he is doing better than I am.

Are we still to be the best compensated in the industry Mr Parker?

I hope you're still planning to live up to your own words Sir?

If I were him I'd keep my word. It's there own fault for dragging negotiations I know the ASS is also responsible but in the past they sure took it away quick they can give it back quicker. If I was Parker I stick with the 3% now or he will never gain the employees trust. There is a lot of waste I see, mind boggling waste he could cut to more than make up for the raises

Hey WeAAsles........... where is your contract?

Apparently at least 2 people agreed with me. Now adjust that for all the people that marked me down and how many REALLY agreed with me.

Just because you don't want to hear it doesn't mean it isn't the truth.
