2015 Fleet Service thread

I was talking in general, all unions have different way of calculating dues. Man I'm asking for it but haven't  we taken over a lot of AMT jobs ?We pay less  dues then them
You are asking for it and they'll be here any minute. But they did agree with a vote to do away with those jobs because they wanted to be paid more. The company I'm sure had a cost associated to those jobs especially Deicing and their negotiators took the savings between having our group do the work over theirs and applied it to something else they wanted in their contract at the time.

We almost were about to do the same thing with that vote on Cabin service just before the company hit the red alarm lever. (FIRE)

We send our Presidents to negotiate for us and I still believe most of the time except for maybe two instances in the last 15 years, I don't think the International puts there hands in it.

Now watch I just took some heat off you.

Paying close attention to what happens with you guys of course because Parker did say Delta (Or United) whichever is higher plus 3%
I think UAL has 6 weeks vacation and 10 holidays at 2x1/2. No AA union who settled approaches that

Dispatchers have 6 weeks.

And UAL has 6 Hollidays with 2 floaters at Double and one half.

Every contract I've read out there has good and bad though.

The pies are all going to be around the same size in the end. Just different tasting sauce.

(I love analogies in case you can't tell)

Weaasles what's the  UA new rate? I told you we should be patient and wait Ha Ha

Yep the United tentative agreement has a signing bonus and LONG 5 years + agreement.  Another hook line and sinker contract from the union boneheads/company!  $33 an hour is not a lot of $$ in year 2021 which it proposes.  Oh well, history has proven that rampers will vote yes on anything.

This is best news for Delta fleet service as they will have an immediate raise to trump this scale sometime this year.

You do realize you are making double the average wage for ramp serviceman according to the BLS right at this moment?

Old statistics..mergers and recent industry consolidation have changed into a new playing field.  More record breaking profits are on the horizon.

Almost 70k in BASE wages for the job we do and you want to sell it as horrible?

Dude can I get some of what you're smoking? Actually I'd rather you stay away from me with it. Your brain is fried.
