Work by the book, plain and simpleRogallo said:Really? What can we do as "people" to hold the company accountable for not being ready? Withhold our services? Can you provide details on how to accomplish this because my options as an individual are very limited.
And don't we "people" pay union dues to an organization to keep the company in check on our behalf?
DFW and MIA have a hose that we roll out from the front of the gate that we use to water the aircraft. It's a crew function and not a separate line bid job.Racer X said:water truck
lav and water is a separate duty assignment in phl there are 2 functions you either do lavs all day or water all day [ LUS ] our gate teams are not responsible for waterWeAAsles said:DFW and MIA have a hose that we roll out from the front of the gate that we use to water the aircraft. I think it's done that way in most other stations too as far as I know.
Is that it? Is that all we have to show displeasure with the company? Working by the book?700UW said:Work by the book, plain and simple
A Union's job is to enforce the CBA and represent the members, not keeping the company in check.
And just how many of those places you claim are still around?700UW said:I have been in two thirty day cooling off periods and a strike.
Working by the book is the only way to pressure the company to negotiate in good faith and make a deal.
Been there, done that, and have the t-shirt to prove it.
Peer pressure.
The union isnt your reps, its all the members, the members are the ones who have the power against the company, not the reps.
What book.700UW said:I have been in two thirty day cooling off periods and a strike.
