W, I knew it was just a matter of time before you would come back and make it look like I flip flop...that's your shtick, MO.
Go back and read and get a grasp! The lack of meetings, the lack of preparation, the inability to mesh early on...that is what I have complained about. I have never said if concessions are thrown our way let's keep the process full speed ahead. Uniforms, bulletin boards, preambles, it's a little difficult to imagine them being concessionary.

Have you ever read the Preamble? And of course Uniforms can be concessionary. On the US side they pay for their uniforms and we don't. Paying for our uniforms may not be a huge expense but it is an expense. How about cleaning? That has a cost. Remember the company used to have to dry clean our Uniforms. Here's one not brought up yet. How about parking? If I'm correct it's around $400.00 per year here in MIA if your company doesn't pay for it. Now put together and add up the little cost items in our contract. Each one eats away at the whole.

And also I'm frankly sick of everyone making it sound like they took days and days talking about these items. They didn't. They're just part of the updates we demanded they make to us. Would you rather they go back to the old way of doing things and they can say nothing at all? No info. Tick Tock we wait till they're done.

Bulletin Boards. Sure to me and you it's antiquated since we use computers. But there are still a few old farts out there who don't and maybe they want bulletin boards? Also I'd rather look at a Union bulletin board then all the company propaganda boards.

To set the record straight W, I want negotiations at a quicker pace so I can reap what other work groups are enjoying. But if AA wants anything, and I mean anything back from us or wants to outsource one job after posting a $6.3 billion profit, I don't care if these negotiations drag out until I retire. Those are non starters IMO.

Most of the guys in that room want more scheduled dates as well. Have you been reading the updates out there. Peterson said it and so did the Association basically in not so many words. The company did not come with anything prepared like Parker was saying they were and the scheduling conflicts? Well neither the TWU or the IAM have any special ceremonies or events coming up for awhile. So who would be the one's saying scheduling conflicts then?

Go in to one of those Jetnet chat thingies they got and ask them what's going on with THEM?

And if you're really ready to stand firm and say nothing back from us (Looking at 2 contracts) and no outsourcing, I'm ready willing and able to stand by you.

Or as my friend OGRAC says on here:

You need money this badly maybe you should consider trying to get a low interest loan?

We "might" be waiting awhile?

But didn't Parker say that we wouldn't have to give anything up? You do know if our negotiators make a stand against concessions it's going to take longer for us to get to the money. Aren't we losing every day the longer this takes?

There's Delta plus 3 just sitting out there waiting for us to snatch it. You don't think now that we should hurry?
Chief you need to make up your mind you sure do flip flop a lot. Are you sure your not in the international?

I think that would be called a tool.

We have been waiting a year and a half. How much longer would you like to work under a bankruptcy contract?

The company wants to contract out cargo, catering and most likely deicing.
Bingo, that's what I heard as well. I also heard it didn't go over well with the negotiating committee...bravo!!!
That is indeed "concessions"!

I was being facetious. You seriously couldn't figure that out?

So people are starting to hear some things? Good. There are things the members should know IMO.

I think if they heard more things, and I think they should, you would see more anger directed at the company than you would
at the pace of negotiations. There is a time when "transparency" is a plus!

English Much?

And you do know that APA and APFA had binding arbitration clauses in their MOUs with the New AA?

Go ask the APFA what they lost when they voted down their CBA and had to go to binding arbitration, and also ask them about how only Doug out of the kindness of the company that they gave them millions back to the APFA that he didnt have to?

What I heard from someone on the negotiating committee was at earliest we'd have something to vote on by Summer, but more likely Fall.

Well if. And that's a big if. If jerry glass is negotiate on company's behalf then I would be surprised if we actually do have something to vote on. Given this airline made 6.3Billion then there is no justifications for any job losses. Plain n simple.
