Many members don't realize that they help support that high school. At least all Transportation districts pledge 5 figures every year to that High School.

regards,
It's actually a very good school and if I had known I was going to end up working at an Airline I should have went there. I took the entrance exam for Bronx Science back in 8th grade and passed, but wound up going to Newtown in Corona instead. Art and Design was another school I was considering.

So when they say "due to varies complexities" I'm sure they mean the IAM/TWU (Association) cannot agree...shocker

And if this wonderful organization is no further along than Uniforms and bulletin boards (and you're currently reviewing them...wow)
Houston Brothers, we have a problem!
Why in the heck are they only meeting once in Feb? This Association is nothing more than a dues collecting machine and is an embarrassment to "Real" organized labor. Give me the TWU or give me the IAM, but the combo...pathetic!

From the Jan 15 update:

"We will continue joint contract negotiations in Washington D.C. for the next two weeks, beginning on January 19, 2016. We have also scheduled a combined nine additional full weeks of joint contract negotiations through March."- See more at: http://www.usaamerger.com/#sthash.o2gcBW1h.dpuf

The new update that now only includes 5 weeks instead of 9 is in line with what the Maintenance team had scheduled. Admittedly it would be nice to know why we in Fleet now are following that schedule? I'm just "assuming" one for all, all for one and we all go in together and we all come out together?

So after all these meetings, so far,
We've received proposals from the company on , ... Bulletin boards and Uniforms?

This is the company laughing at us as they announce their multi billion dollar profits.

For months we heard from Doug that the company was ready that day to offer us Delta+7, now it's a revised Delta+3, but they we're ALL READY TO GO whenever the Association was ready to sit down with them.

So WHY then hasn't there been a COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSAL handed to the Association on DAY ONE of the sit down????

If the Association can't stand up and call them out on this BS then they are no better than the company on this issue.
We're being played by both the company AND the union.

The company had no problems giving us a very sweeping and comprehensive proposal when they took away everything in 2003. That didn't take several months and many different venues, it took weeks and they all huddled in Dallas, and our brand new CBA was completed in very short order with no hiccups.

This is total and complete BS, nothing less.

And good Monday morning to you too!
Good morning to you in return my wrench turning friend. Iowa caucuses today. I'm betting Trump smokes it and Sanders squeaks a win?

so the iam district 141 S/T gets temporarily relieved for from what i heard is taking $13,500 of union funds and moving his wifves belongings?
And the District Prez is soft as a baby's bottom about it?

After destroying the Delta organizing campaigns and blowing large sums of money not knowing what they are doing at Jetblue, and after being placed in supervision and continuing in supervision....now another vacation for an officer removed from office?

Really disappointing indeed.

regards,
