Have you truly led that sheltered a life?

P.S. That was a purely rhetorical "question".

If "yous'e have some spare time; perhaps you could refresh our collective memories of all the times you've "heroically" (if pathetically and feebly) tried to make analogies with actual fighting forces, like the IDF for one, and "war" in general, as at ALL analogous to your sad attempt to "righteously" usurp whole decades of worked-years from others...?....Or do "you'se" need me to quote them, to make your childish BS both refreshed and more currently absurd? On a personal level?...Well...here's a gentle hint; imagining one's self some "spartan soldier", and "righteous" can be had from imaginative 10 year olds.

I've no rational option other than to stick with: GROW UP!...and please don't beat me up while wearing your "varsity letter jacket", Mr. "I was the bully"! ;) Wager's always open, supposed "pilot." PM if interested. :)

On the money, EastUS1!

Not to take anything from your spot on points, I hope this will bring a smile to many faces on this board. :)

Not at all Breeze. A Lady-friend residing in Charleston saw a billboard while driving home from work this week. On it were simply the titles of Mr. William's many movies with.. "THANK YOU ROBIN" at the bottom. She actually had to pull over in tears...Whatever his politics/whatever his personal demons/etc: What more of a legacy could anyone ever want than to have brought joy and laughter to countless millions? We could all only hope to be so talented and lucky...As Aviators?...Our legacy's an ephemeral creature of performance art that's "gone" with every "great landing" under at all trying circumstances. As warriors, if it suits?...Nothing really pleasant to even consider in the way of immediate or lasting effects. I'll always envy those that can make us all laugh...and he was among the very best ever. :)

My fantasy is expecting people to live up to agreements which may be considered..Old fashioned. ;)

Well...my "fantasy" is expecting anything even approaching any semblance of "men" to conduct themselves accordingly...which I've indeed found to be pure fantasy whenever dealing with AWA's mighty "spartans".

Wager's always open....? Umm...perhaps that should be passed on to "real men" like "you'se" following, "heroically"-T-shirted-village-idiot instead? After all; all you've claimed is a whopping TWO "varsity letters", while this punk's got waaay-cool-dude-T-shirts? Umm...No "disrespect" (actually, no end of such), and I've no doubt all of "you'se" sort should "properly" gain whole decades of phony "seniority" over others that've actually worked for them....But, in memory of Robin Williams, I'm just trying to give people something to laugh at, and your whole "integrity" and "spartan army" is far funnier material than anything I could ever even try to make up. ;)

Wager's open, mighty "spartans". Come out and put my evil east self in my proper place...."lords and ladies"..."battle"-tested-"knights"?...Did I forget "dire wolves" and "Larry Potta"?...How inappropriately disrespectful and truly careless of me. :)

P.S. That offer/wager's especially open to your "cap'n aux". Please tell him he's missing his true chance at aerial video immortality...unless he's worried about the effects a video of his inept flailing might have on his teenaged "blog buddies".  ;) Apparently he's a battle-tested "knight" who's won "many surprise victories" though, so I wouldn't even begin to dare imagine I could offer him much of a challenge....I don't even have a "dire wolf" T-shirt, after all....And "you'se" umm "spartans" could even wonder why we laugh at you? :)

It is of no coincidence that both of the top Flight Ops managers were East, the Director of training, East,  the "union against West pilots" was East. The East-centric staffing makes sense when you consider those facts and that West pilots were at a higher pay scale which played into the hands of Parker. His loyalty lies with numbers, not people.

Bases open, bases close. Who knows, you may be on an island.

I'll go to the base Nicolau sends me.
Do you guys have an inferiority complex or what?

BTW, are you just now coming to the conclusion that Parker/Kirby go with the numbers?

REALLY?

What management/CEO in this world doesn't and still remains CEO?

Do you believe the APA really thinks the company is going to give us contract improvements even before the ink is dry with the MOU and into JCBA negotiations?

Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

Do you like gladiator movies?

Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

Are you Kareem Abdul Jabbar?

Are you Shirley?

Tried to use a paper upgrade for domestic travel to the west coast. Was told they are all electronic now. Think they will cash in the old ones?

We sure are. What took you so long to figure it out?

Snap!
You are indeed.

Interesting video I saw the other day. They want to rebrand all the employee break rooms ASAP to get the "New American" feel good on. And I mean they want it done yesterday!

Anyone want to guess how long it will take? I'm talking just the Hubs now, not the outstations.

3 years.

THAT is the scale of this merger.

So, I'm officially pushing back the date of any joint bid from 2017 to beginning of 2018 imho.

Hope those ties wear well.

Snap!
Thanks for posting that link.

A never furloughed July 1988 US Airways pilot going below an April 2005 America West pilot, case closed as to why the Nicolau award has yet to be anything other than the uncashed lottery ticket it is.

Seems on scanning the list that never furloughed US Airways pilots were generally made junior to America West pilots with 16 or 17 years less time in service.

Now I know that furloughed guys get thrown under the bus when ALPA is around, which is wrong, but throwing the never furloughed guys under the bus also... how can that be defended even by ALPA?

Again, thanks for posting the link to the list which Nicolau created. Those who really don't know just how off the mark he was can review it and see how untenable it is.

For 675 dollars the better last, all they do is show who the real morons of the west are. They will never recoup what they have given up. Keep those scabs locked in PHX.
