which will it be? the ta or term sheet?

Fleet is being asked to take a 3% paycut to retain extra heads and stop the outsourcing of some jobs.

More to come for fleet...

I sit here and ask myself, why are we even voting on this? The APA and APFA state that these terms are unacceptable. What makes ours acceptable? or the LBO acceptable?.Well I would like a to make a point. How much money would the union save in lawyer fees if this gets voted in? Would Little and his cronies have to live under these terms? not!! Who will they blame if it gets voted in? YOU!! and state you guys accepted these terms. IMO it does not matter what the LBO is, I am voting NO!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! but he is "GOING TO FIGHT LIKE HELL!!"

You're voting on it so Little can cover his bases in any scenario. One thing he learned at Diploma Mill University "always have plausible deniability" to deflect blame when things go bad.

Seems it depends on who answers the phone there. I called JP Morgan and was told to call AA H.R. AA H.R. Told me to call back JP Morgan. I did and was told, as Informer said, that they would research it and call me back. 7 to 10 days. I asked about them mailing the info to me and they said no. They could email me a notice that they had the info but I would still have to call for the numbers.
What a cluster ......

Again, they told me the same thing and then they called me back that same afternooon.
Since it is Friday late, you will hear from them on Monday.

I thought Jim Little said he learned his tactics in the military?

Exactly. The TWU will do what's best for the TWU.
I'm tellin ya....like Informers saying....don't let the TWU buffalo you guys, send there asses right back to wk.
Don't give the company anything-make the company go through the judge. The TWU has abused you poor guys unmercifully....don't let em up.

I can hear it now...."we've hood winked the idiots over the decades, let's see if we can pull it off one more time"- TWU.

Bleed these sorry labor pimp, parasites.
Then get AMFA in this place!!

Picking the term sheet.........

Hopefully when AA merges with USair, a new name and livery will be introduced, when I think AA, I think incompetent management, going from the best airline where the unions gave concessions to the management, which takes a tramendious amount of faith, while at the same time the employees are refered to as bricks by the executives.

when I think US airways, I think of a golden parachute to stephen wolf for changing the name from USair to US airways.

Wow, a 3% match on the 401K instead of the 5.5% that AA was offering.... That's got me sold in favor of the merger.

How many mechanics forced into the OSM postion and the accompanying paycut will even be able to contribute 3% to a 401k much less 5.5%?
And lets not forget about the paycut resulting from increased medical care contributions.
So, for many AMTs this might be a no-brainer.

But.... but.... but..... US Airways is offering you a better future! Or at least that's what I read in the press release from the unions last week...
