What are we, M & R Related, asking for.

You talk about creditability? Maybe from the IAM side but not the TWU side. I'm on the property talking to these guys and your where? Butt out because all you do is call and email people. I am here face to face. But then again you can't help yourself. Go ahead and ramble on. That's what you do best. In the meantime there is some back door talking going on unofficially.

We know who is on the association side of the table but does anyone have any idea who will lead the company side?

Open negotiations would be nice...

As we know Doug and company is already offering Delta +7% then on top of that we have the 4% signing bonus. I think the IAM has a better work scope and protection contract so hopefully the commitee will build off of that and take some items from the TWU contract that are desired to improve our work scope even more. If we get a good offer from the company, which they seem willing to give, I am all for it, I could use a 11% pay increase. But please, don't let this drag on for too many months. I would love to have something to vote on by August. Hopefully we are kept informed of how the negotiations are going and the progress being made.

How does Delta's work scope compare to ours? The flight attendants and pilots turned down Dougs offer the first time around and then asked if they could have it back. Lets learn from that.

The way it sounds, we can get rid of the rest of the Labor Agreement, all the Articles, and all the pages.

The stooges are willing to have an agreement with only one sentence left.

"Delta Pay +7% on Date of Signing" that's it

the rest of the agreement and the the fact they were lied to, not given an vote on the association, and the International controls all decisions, this doesn't matter to many I talk to. They actually believe the Brinks Money truck is coming to their driveway within 30 days.

IGNORANT FOOLS that may well be the majority in this so called "UNION"
That sir, was a beautiful post.  It just about sums it up.

I'd be proud to call you my co worker.

Before voting yes for more money, watch that they put us in the IAM pension fund and stop our 401K match? Before you say yes or its not an issue for the AA guys educate yourselves on the restrictions of the IAM pension. The 401K puts more money in your pockets. More money is what we are all looking for? Right? More money now in our paychecks and more money in our 401K for our retirement.

Anything that has LAA people moving our pension to IAMPF is D.O.A.

The Board of Directors are who we are up against. Every one else is a figure head.

Idiots!!!!!!!!! This is what kills me, no one educates them selves. There will be no 7%+4%. There will only be 7% if this is the way it goes. The 4% is part of the 7% period. Please take the time to educate yourselves before you just jump for the money. And if you are upset about not getting a vote that we all were promised then it's not to late for that either. The NMB has not bared anyone from submitting cards for new representation. The clock did not reset. What does it take for us to stick together as a group and make some progress? We are our own worst enemies.

What are mechs asking for? A LOT !!!!!!

No flight attendant should make more then ANY mechanic.

No offense intended.

Not one of those posting here can explain what Delta + 7% is. The mechanics may get 7% above the highest paid Delta mechanic, but at what cost....

700 please reframe from getting involved in this topic. This is about M&E negotiations. Do we really have to go down this road again with you?
Preliminary talks whether officially noted or not have occurred. This is how the TWU operates. I spoke to a high level union officer (591) and the word is the company has approached certain individuals from the TWU negotiators with their demands. This is just the beginning of the back door deals. No proposals were exchanged just demands from the company on what they want.
Isn't the iam overseeing the first 2 yrs?
