Bingo.Yes, and the East has Claxon/Nostradomus/Sumodarson, Sealbeater, Luvthe9, and Captain Verbosity, et al.
Clearly the East at it's best

By no means. Such is an honor I'll leave to yourself and any like minded "supporters", that so eagerly indorse and defend the...ummm..."opinions" of that poster, umm..regardless of your being an "eastie", and thus, grouped in as one of the "simple minded"..."hicks" of course 😉
You've been spending way too much time "indorse" with your Thesauraus and Dictionary. You need to get out more and smell the Roses.
East I'm sure their merger team has some talented people that can offer a different perspective to this process. Having only one west pilot on the merger committee or NAC is not advantageous. And I don't know the names of the PBS Pilot's (west can help me here) but we really could use their input. Taking away the root cause of our animosity, the Niclau, will allow everyone to drop their guard and focus on this merger instead of each other. But you may be right. It may be too late. Maybe it's too late for us to have any influence on the outcome of the merger. Maybe it would be best to stay out of the way. But what we are doing now isn't working.Who have you in mind as being "the more talented west pilots who can offer their assistance to the merger committee and NAC."? = Honest question, not meant as bait of any kind.
Your point is well taken as to PBS, as none east, that I'm aware of anyway, have ready, in depth knowledge of the ins and outs of that. Given that any combined contract looks to include that; it's my cynical suspicion that reasonably self interested west input would be available, nic or not.
I've considerable skepticism as to how well the union could launch any love festivals between west-east, regardless of any/all actions potentially taken at this point. The last I see from west posters is that they're all in a frenzy to discontinue dues payments, and, of course, seek out the union's demise yesterday, if not sooner....nothing new in any of that.
"Right now we have gained irrelevance." I'll submit that, based upon the size of the APA and Parker's lust for American, that little or no additional "influence" would be made practically possible, other than what currently exists, regardless of any magically achieved "unity" at this hour.
"And as for your knee pads, i didn't mean to imply that we roll over and show our belly." That is reassuring, as I've yet to see where ANY concern for employees exists at ALL within the management team...save for themselves, of course. I'm interested in what steps you envision as being the route to establishing "a working relationship" with those people would entail....and what tangible benefits would spring forth from such....????

I do not know how it could be any worse. Change has already started with PHL. No matter how much FA tries to deny that no other pilots feel the same as I do, the proof lies in the past few days with the pilot group standing up to the nonsense of the PHL and CLT reps. I believe most pilots are done and look forward to what this merger may bring. As I said before, of it fails, we may be the ones jumping into a lake. Either way things must change."It may be too late." Indeed. That's my concern with making any enormous changes at present, and most certainly, doing so without reasonably predictable, tangible gain. My guess (no better than anyone's) is that whatever actual influence, if much/any at all, would simply come from whatever the legal status affords, by even having a union.
I have to admit that it took me a few seconds to figure that out but I did get a good laugh out of it. Didn't mean to do it at east's expense. You've been spending way too much time "indorse" with your Thesauraus and Dictionary. You need to get out more and smell the Roses.

Hummel is a big Nic. supporter, it won't be long now. Fox in the hen house? lolI know it was a long time coming but I would like to thank the MANY comittee members appointed by USAPA from the WEST and our PHL rep JAMIE WEIDNER for making it happen, but I don't understand in our " UNIONS TRANSPERENCY" change why an EMAIL wasn't sent and many of us checking the "USAPA YELLOW PAGES" was enough, one of them was a guy given time off for our identity theft, GARY has a big heart as well as all us USAPA members, welcome my WEST brothers! MM!
