Okay,

Here are some big "heavy lift" propositions for you.

Try telling the truth.

Try acting like a responsible individuals, and live up to your agreements.

Lift that, and maybe someone will take you seriously, I guarantee it.
Nic4 us. Where are the lies I put on the board? Pretty easy to accuse someone of it , then dodge the issue. I love how you guys hit and run on the integrity issue. If any one lacks it, this is a clear cut example of how it works.

Where have I lied ? How do I not act responsibly? You are making gross assumptions, incorrectly. It is easy to throw something out there. Your above statement is entirely false.

There was nothing false about my statement. But perhaps you did not understand my intent.

My post challenged you( by that I meant the plural usapa supporters, those that will do the heavy lifting) to do two things.

1. Tell the truth. i.e. usapa needs to quit instigating trials and arbitrations for which it has the evidence that its position is unfounded, yet it persues that position anyway, ignoring and trying to cover said evidence, to further its ulterior motives.

2. Try acting like responsible individuals, and live up to your agreements. see #1.

Not dodging any issue, not tring to do a hit and run, was just occupied on another tab doing some bussiness.

Was not accusing you personally of lying, However, I do find the way you ( you singular, the poster Black Swan) address Judge Wake as the "desert judge" etc. insulting. Also, I find your remarks toward the Cactus 18 over the top, that case was dismissed with prejudice, speaking as if those individuals commited the alleged acts is irresponsible.

Read your statements again. This was not a generalization. This was absolutely directed at me, with the intent of calling me a liar in order to discredit me. I find this quite typical of the posts on this board. Calling someone a liar, no integrity, etc. Next time you catch me in a lie, let me know. Until you do, you can start telling the truth, because your statement was a misrepresentation of the truth. Calling the judge the Desert Judge has nothing to do with it. You guys insult Cleary and USAPA all the time. I can handle it. You are wrong, but I can handle it.

Call me stupid but could you elaborate a bit? What exactly can/is the company trying to sell? Remember this is AFTER the hearing! What could they possibly gain with this letter? I agree it certainly is a shot at USAPA but I fail to see any real gain other than to properly manage expectations when east ALPA/USAPA has a documented history of failing to do so! To put out such a missive AFTER the hearing will do absolutely nothing for the company. So logically one has to believe that they are in fact trying to more fully, and therefore, properly manage the expectations of their employees. Additionally I also believe they are concerned that certain named individuals will/could be harassed to say the least...
Tiger,
I can give you my take, the company really isn't trying to sell anything with regard to the arbitration. What their trying to do is appeal directly to the pilot group trying to build doubt among the group. Building doubt by going directly to the group, they hope to use this age old tactic in future contract neg. Not to put one side against the other, but I feel due to the NIC division they feel they have the west on their side as far as trusting them some what, or being at odds with the union on most issues. With the east doing most of the negotiating, the company feels their not being very successful trying to soften us up on some issues. If they can build doubt now concerning this issue, then they feel they can use that down the road. Some members of this MGT. group tried the same thing during the sale of the 170's to Republic during the MDA days. We held firm and got some things we wanted. As long as you understand their tactics, you shouldn't be bothered by them. Expect much more of this in the future.

IMO Cleary has made such a mess of things, including even more selective release of information than was provided by the AAA MEC during the merger process, that the company is scared of him screwing things up worse than they are already. It isn't because Cleary is a formidable foe, but just the opposite (ie - a buffoon).

Another possible reason is that with the USAPA slow-motion train wreck still in progress no other airline wants anything to do with US Airways. That train wreck has poster children of Cleary and Seham on the respective "Now Showing" posters.

You know, when political leaders really screw up they can usually find a country to grant them exile. Is there anything or anywhere for Cleary, Seham and possibly Bradford?
And who could have and should have help fix the pilots situation before it got to this point

In that large and expansive distance between the East and PHX, you and your group has miscalculated how much we really like Cleary, and that is exactly why we voted him in with such a majority. You just don't get it. We are going to back this guy to the gates of Hell to fight you......... We made ALPA a SMOKING HOLE, and put the guy we want in and that guy is MIKE CLEARY!

I certainly hope you are correct, for having Cleary in charge is the gift, to the west, that keeps on giving. At one time you actually had a good chance to unravel the arbitrated seniority award but Cleary slammed that door shut and has now put up a couple of barricades.

The only downside is that USAPA's leadership is so inept that even if they bring forth a contract proposal, with the list attached, I won't be able to vote yes.

It's funny reading the company's loa 93 letter and uspa's response to it. Disingenuous is the operative word, on both sides. Usapa and LCC management are a perfect match for each other. If the east get's the money, more power to them. It is worth a shot.

Usapa talking about the integrity of the arbitration process? Is that ever a good one.

I almost shot diet coke out my nose when I read that one! Who do these Dipsh***s think they're talking to? Has Cleary and the rest of the waterheaded megalomaniacs actually brainwashed themselves into thinking that everybody FORGOT what they did and how they did it?

USAPA leadership is flat out mental.

USAPA leadership is flat out mental.
Unrestrained narcissism will do that to a person, especially to the weak-minded. The pathological nature of USAPA devotees continues even in face of absurdly bad odds.

How they keep a straight face while expressing their confidence in these hopeless, futile disputes with the company and the west pilots is beyond me. Nevertheless, it's a wildly entertaining psychological train wreck that just keeps on giving. In all honesty, I can barely contain my laughter every time a see USAPA apologist.

You guys sure did SMOKE alpa off the property. Congratulations. You were angry and had the numbers courtesy of nmb and it's single carrier ruling. Big deal, Andre the Giant could sit on Billy Barty and go brag about that too.

You are failing rapidly by most accounts.

Hmmm..kinda' sounds like Billy Barty telling the giant that he's about to lose the next round......
