That the LOA 93 snap back is in the bag why desperately continue to search for the next miracle? Why not just wait for the win you think is coming?

Only the most complete fools and utterly hopeless village idiots fail to make contingency plans...which brings up a reasonable question: What's the west's "Plan B" should you be proven wrong in all or even ANY of your assumptions? You people have to win accross the board to ever have any hopes of seeing your precious nic gift actually happen. For the east? = Not-So-Much.

I'm sure you folks must have properly planned for potential failure at some, even ANY level though....or perhaps not?

The company sees this as detrimental to all and is trying to get the masses to educate themselves. Hard to argue with actual evidence as opposed to what so & so said on a web board or spouting off in the crew room.

Just the fact that the majority of west posters so eagerly and gladly suck up to whatever "the company line" is at any given second,..well..that should and does truly tell everyone pretty much all they really ever need to know about your group.

Cleary may have had a lot of support when elected, but he and the BPR couldn't even get 50% to vote for their proposal to eliminate the EVP position. From what I read in various places, it seems that more and more people are realizing that what Black Swan said is true - "He ascends to the new THRONE of RULE." - and aren't happy with Cleary attempting to become a dictator.

Of course, the hard liners love a dictator as long as he dictates what they want dictated...

In spite of all the former ALPA spin and remorse, the fact of the matter is this- CLEARY is at the top of the leadership chain, and USAPA is the elected rep. body. No, I have a pretty good handle on what goes on in the east. More so than 99% of the east pilots.

You guys sure did SMOKE alpa off the property. Congratulations. You were angry and had the numbers courtesy of nmb and it's single carrier ruling. Big deal, Andre the Giant could sit on Billy Barty and go brag about that too.

After your shining moment of glory, you had to figure out what to do with it. You are failing rapidly by most accounts. Your'e still swinging and knocking things over, to be sure, but building something? Not so much.

When the time comes to do the heavy lifting, we lift. You can make all you want of the EVP position. I look at it as an opportunity to put a hardliner east pilot in another slot. You take it for what you want. Back to the heavy lift votes- when it came time to kill ALPA, kill we did. When it came time to put Cleary right where we want him, it happened. Try us again on something big. We will deliver once more. I guarantee it.

You looked at the EVP as some sort of way to make USAPA spend money.Some sort of distorted contest. The real contest was the ALPA vote, and we all know the outcome of that one.... I look at it as another position of power to be filled by someone WE like. Thank you for that opportunity.
