No single pilot had diddle squat to "uphold". Thou dost protest too much.

Sue on. Yawn.

Did Lee tell you that? He must have. Only Lee could give advice to patently incorrect. I assume the Jury felt the same way as evidenced by their conviction of USAPA.

I guess a so called union and paying dues in the thousands per year are foreign to you unless you understand what that means in the most simplest terms.

seham's quote "union reasonableness" does not apply here.
What are you talking about? You said something about someone paying money to USAPA, I said we all have to pay. It's a condition of employment. I'm not happy with Seham, but have to pay.

You have no more rights in front of a US federal court than we do. That's the joy of the FEDERAL JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

We proved our case very clearly/n/cleary.

One more big thanks to seham/bradford/cleary for what they do and what they have done.

You east guys leaving alpa was the best.

Its called FIRE the people we pay/hire to represent us against usairways.

Awa would recall/fire their reps at a drop of a hat. (actually maybe to much) They either worked for ALL the pilots or they got their butts kicked out of union business.

simple enough

No single pilot had diddle squat to uphold.

Since you are so sure that they did, please point out what a single pilot had to uphold. Or since you seem to think the jury felt that each pilot had something to "uphold" then please to tell us what it was. Maybe Otter can reveal to us what he personally upheld, for which he is far superior to those who didn't. Heck maybe you upheld something too.. are congratulations in order?

You HAVE the precious "JOB" that you "brought to this merger"...and obviously want more..

The 140 West pilots on furlough will disagree with you. These are pilots who were on the payroll working when this disaster of a merger went down. How righteous of you to pontificate from your perch up on high as you squat on the aircraft that were to be shared with the West group.

If the West were only flying their share of the "new, post-merger equipment", they would not be furloughed. Instead, they have been kicked to the curb while your furloughees up to 2000 numbers deep on the street are back in the saddle.

So no sir, 140+ West pilots certainly DO NOT have what they brought to the merger - The East has so far stolen it from them.

Merger? Oh, now you have done it.

No...

I think you blame that one on Parker!

If you're furoughed, I'm very sorry and you hit the nail on the head. Been furoughed 3 times in my career and believe me I know how it feels. It's worst than getting kicked in the gut by a mule.

Usairways acquired 757's, a330-2's and e190's after the merger. We on the west have every right to those shared seats per the TA and LOA's.

Furloughs suck but separate ops was ALPa's idea. Just like with Polar and Atlas.

The company chose which planes to park on the West and East.

For the life of me I can not understand how any one out West thinks they should go ahead of East pilots. Very well put sir.

It's not difficult. West pilots are not being put on the east list, rather a new list for a new airline is being constructed based on pilots who worked at two different airlines. Along similar types of equipment (at the date of the snapshot) pilots were integrated based roughly on their relative positions as active pilots on their respective seniority lists.

From this simple concept, USAPA has decided it was in their best interest to gin up a boogeyman of ambitious young rookies out to steal the east pilots jobs at every and all opportunities. They cling to separate operations as it's the most cost effective way to appear to be doing something by doing nothing. It provides cover for those who failed to provide what they promised; a union that provides more for less. So far they have provided nothing, but have consumed an obscene amount of money to do it.

I get the impression, though that this matters little to you, as you are benefitting somehow from the continued civil war, even if the only benefit is some sadistic pleasure in seeing fellow pilots suffer a little more than you.
