Rumor has it we will declare bankruptcy by the end of March, so most of this won't matter. Maintance advised us they have virtually no parts in stock for the fleets and that they have been sold off for immediate cash. Also heard of a possible cut in service PHX. It's not shaping up to be a good 2010.

Yes, this is one variable which may cause an early extinction to the west flying as a whole. With the increased costs from doing business in the east, PHX is far from profitable (not that it made any money in the past- now it is even deeper in the red). So, what does this mean if you are a west pilot? Furlough. Possibly the loss of the PHX hub entirely. How is Wake and Nicolau going to help you all now? See how much you could have salvaged if you just negotiated at Wye River. Guess we will have the last laugh. HA HA HA HA HA :lol:

Why would the PHL ALPA LEC get put into trusteeship? Perhaps bad faith and concealment is just par for the course.

Wake and Nicolau will ensure all USAirways pilots are treated fairly in any future bankruptcy, because the first thing to go will be the TA, no more fleet min, no more seperate ops. Just one newly imposed bankruptcy contract and one seniority list, the Nicolau award. You are so right that there will be furloughs, and looking at the Nic I see any east pilot hired after 1986 as out the door, for their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time. It really is no laughing matter.

Laughing at a union brother’s possible loss of a job or domicile. Quite a class act some of you east guys are. If there was any doubt why karma has slapped the east around this should explain it.

Might want to do some reading into the history of AWA. We competed quite well against SWA managed to grow and turn a profit here and there. But even more important this is one company now and what effects one side will affect the other. There is no more east west accounting just how long does it take for you to understand that? It all goes into one pot. If we go bankrupt you go bankrupt. If there are no parts for the west there are no parts for the east. What part of that do you not understand?

Doug has a nice house here that he likes. Do you really think that he is going to close the hub and move to the east? Do you really think that he would have the HQ in a city without a hub? Man you guys need to get your heads right.

BTW way we were under no obligation to negotiate a single comma at Wye River. But I guess you all should have negotiated when it was time to negotiate. Before the award was released. Now it is to late. You guys did this to yourselves with no one to blame but yourselves.

Oh, so Cleary is a liar? They will need to remember that when he gets to testify again, most likely at the damages trial. (If not the damages trial then the re-trial in district court.)
 
Levitate at the mention of Cleary? Well with all the sleight of hand they've tried to pull. perhaps getting my carcass to levitate might be their easy work. No, I have high expectations of a union and it's leadership and his performance and that of all USAPA has fallen far short. Even those who want to serve apolitically are tarred by association with USAPA and it's civil war mentality. I would hope they would resign as well and send the message to the bunker that it's time to move aside and let progress lead. But the end of all tyrants in bunkers seems to be the same. They don't go peacefully.
