Criminal proceedings normally occur before civil proceedings. Why? Evidence of crimes that were committed and upon which conviction(s) gained is very persuasive to a jury in a civil case.

As for the perfect safety record -- good job. But that was almost ruined by the two drunk pilots a few years back.

IMHO I doubt anyone on the EAST wants to use the call sign CACTUS.
We have much bigger problems now other than the call sign.

While partially what you say is true "Evidence of crimes that were committed and upon which conviction(s) gained is very persuasive to a jury in a civil case" it is sometimes civil litigation that calls attention to wrong-doings which could be prosecuted criminally. Also I don't think it is possible for an "individual" (be they a person or entity) to bring a criminal lawsuit. That is only undertaken by the authorities, be they state or federal. You could however file criminal charges.

While I still think that DOH is the ONLY fair way to integrate unions, I doubt that any of the documentation from mergers which occurred OVER 20 YEARS AGO even still exists, let alone is getting any serious lip service in "the inner circle"

If you can't back up your statements with names, times and dates, then why bother saying them. They're only unsubstantiated rumors.

By the way, unlike ALPA, if you want to know what's going on at USAPA, just ask your rep. Oh, that's right. I keep forgetting you don't have one.

It is not USAPA’s decision to pursue criminal charges. That is up to the prosecutor if there was any criminal activity.

Don’t fool yourself. This frivolous lawsuit is about intimidation and dues money. Nothing more. Is USAPA so weak that a few phone calls to the 800 number is going to bring down the mighty new club?

Just to file this law suit USAPA has wasted between $20,000 and $50,000 so far. Do you think that is a good use of your limited funds? Kind of an expensive temper tantrum.

If I were running that show, I'd have done EXACTLY THE SAME THING.

Looks like some offenders are scared. They must know that such shenanigans can effect their entire careers, including whether they can even hold an FAA medical (you know, the "morality" part).

I believe that the ONLY reason this wasn't filed criminally is that USAPA is trying to "mend the wounds" and only wants this childishness to stop, not really to cause excessive pain. The pain is caused by the childish individuals that perpetrated these stupid acts.

As far as "limited funds" goes, don't worry, they'll have plenty when the terminations start and everyone starts to pay up.

I don't imply anything. If I want to find the answer to something I go right to the source. The whole idea of reordering the list for these 2 groups started by the west to foment dissension during the campaign. It didn't work then, it's not working now. Either your "source" on the "inner circle" is telling you what you want to hear or you're just making it up. Which I am inclined to believe the later. Imagination is a great thing.

The giveaway is your use of the term "inner circle". There isn't one. Do you mean the merger committee by chance? I spoke to a member of that committee, lets just say it was total BS then and it still is total BS. If your trying to create dissension, nice try. It didn't work.
