US-AA Merger Articles (Merged Topics)

I was being sarcastic . My point is that it does not matter how much money Afa int. has. Afa was about bankrupt years back until the CWA took us in. Money does not decide the prevailing union.

There is no ballot box, its all done by phone or internet run by the NMB.

And I can't believe it is full proof. PIT gave the key word-MONEY. But that is neither here, nor there.

Logic would conclude that since APFA outnumbers US AFA, the winner is APFA. Sure you have a few disgruntled APFA that go against their union, but my guess is that there will be more US AFAs going for APFA, I really don't think it matters either way. So APFA wins!!!

Well until a merger this is all speculation, but lets assume a merger happens.

Well, sir, you may have to explain to the US f/as that APFA isn't stapling them.

I'm speaking about money because alot of what would transpire would have to be brought to mediation/arbitration, and then possibly the court system. That takes alot of money.

In August 2009, Deutsche Bank instituted a new policy whereby analysts may choose not to set or maintain a target price of certain issuers under coverage with a Hold rating. In particular, this will typically occur for "Hold" rated stocks having a market cap smaller than most other companies in its

sector or region. We believe that such policy will allow us to make best use of our resources. Please visit our website at http://gm.db.com to determine the target price of any stock.

AMR Corp. (AAMRQ), the parent of American Airlines, said it plans to emerge from bankruptcy protection as an independent company ...

“We’re very focused on restructuring independently,” Chief Executive Officer Tom Horton said today in Beijing at a briefing. “That has to be our focus now and anything else for the time being is a distraction.”
