AA will be outsourcing more work soon. AAR may be contracted to do AA work in the future. So if an AA amt leaves AA to hire on AAR would they be considered a scab?Did they need line mechanics or union officials?

They need mechanics period. I don't know about you but I've worked both and can tell you on the line you learn more and are more valuable to them than strictly an overhaul guyDid they need line mechanics or union officials?

Maybe not a "scab" per say....but you sure as hell are indirectly assisting AA & other carriers in pulling off the mass outsourcing they so desire.
If that's what comml aviation has come to, I'm out.
