Working VP, kind of like when you were working from home as a president collecting a union salary and company pay huh? Those conf calls were hilarious with your kids yelling in the background. Working for the membership huh? I wish I could get paid to take care of my kids, run my own business, all under the guise of being a local president.

I did my research and I work on planes every night. I actually love what I do and don't look for ways to get work farmed out because the members don't want to do it.

Wrencher the company did screw you and the other people with the help of the twu and Bobby Gless. The company said they did not need 3 maintenance bases. They sucked the majority of the bond money out of the city and state and ran like a thief in the night. Then Gless signed a letter of agreement with company for DWH and now we are back at 3. They have been lying to the people from MCIE from the beginning with the help of your former president Gordon Clark.This is no different than when they pulled the kasher scam. They never had any intention of keeping MCIE open. The mechanic and related along with the FA were represented by the iam. M&R was given the kasher decision and the FA got stapled to the bottom. Why? The M&R could get the about 80 million in bond money that the FA could not get for the company.

When you really think about it, twa people where lucky AA took all that baggae on for so long. they could have just payed for the routes and been done with it. I don't mean to sound cold hearted, but that deal dragged AA down alot , because United passed on taking USair

I hope someone does the same for us when we are geting shoved out the door i.e bankruptys equals USair think they are going to take all of us? They may if we go BR and are contracts are thrown to the wind ( which for the most part they have!!!!)

Ahhhh...I think they're all wet on those stats. If the bunch that hired in with me is any indication...that "pool" out there is drying up fast.
31,400 openings nation-wide/GA & comml aviation? for 10 years?!.............no way.

Well if you support the twu you are one of two things either an officer and and an overpaid one at that of the twu..Or you are someone riding the coattails of an A@P...So which is it?? Call it what u want but line A@P's have ligit #### when compared to A@P's at other carriers namely UPS, SWA, and FX and I am sure they may be under paid against other airlines as well. Haven't seen the newly minted Alaska contract but rumor has it that it is second in the industry..Since they never compare themselves to UPS or FX I have to think it is second to SWA. Its nice to have all your MX in house but bottom line is OH is keeping line pay down and the line guys all know that. Isn't right to pit line against OH but the line guys are looking around and I can see why they have the attitude they do.
