TWU negotiations.........what?

The Egyptian President Hasni Mubarak had no intention of listening to the people through any leaders. It was not until the people themselves took to the streets and forced the issue that got the attention and result that they desired.
The lesson learned is to be on the same page and act as one on an issue.

No conflict =No chance of change

Sounds good Chuck

Can you get me a copy of the page we are on or what the issue is so I might consider getting on board? All I get is a monthly update about one meaningless Article per month being T/A'd. And not one to date was a reason I ever heard as a reason the T/A was rejected.

There were some leaders of that movement in Egypt using the internet to organize and call the shots. I don't see that here anywhere. We are leaderless or best case have some ball-less leaders. Maybe you could get some of those AMT's that Bob talks about being ready to walk. You know the many that he claims don't want to work for AA anymore. They might standup. Those in Egypt were not leaderless to begin with but may have been by the time it ended as the effort swelled out of control. But make no mistake there were intial fearless leaders to get the ball rolling.

PM me a clean copy of what page we are on when you get a minute. I will try to share it in Tulsa.

Hope things are well with you Chuck, Long time No see.

Bob and Chuck are leaders of the New York local. I seem to be able to get better information from them on this site than I can from my own leaders down here in Texas. Why are you railing to Bob about all your leadership bitches and moans? #### to those in Tulsa or step up and lead YOURSELF. Were not you on record on this forum advocating a YES vote on the last T/A, claiming and I quote" I GOT MINE"? Would such actions discredit yourself from being taken seriously as a leader? disclaimer: this reply does not warrant any biblical quotes or unfortunate personal reasons for throwing the majority of the mechs at AA undert the proverbial TWU bus. :p

Feel free to grow a set and show us how it's done.
Yes I voted yes. And if in your view that discredits me then so be it.
In my opinion with the TWU negotiatiing the agreement if you are lucky enough to "have yours brother", then you better take it.
I have been on the short end of this process for 27 years now and just felt it must be my turn. Probably sold out by you in 1993 when u voted for the extension and pocketed your 5 yr top out and extra license pay., and I got squat. You had yours then brother didnt you? I dont remember you advocating a NO vote since everyone wasnt getting the same "fair" deal. No you had yours and voted YES. My skin remains on the drive shaft under the Bus from being left there so long by the likes of you. Then we all left some blood and hair on the drive shaft when the "I got mine" early retirement group voted in the 1995 6 yr - 6 1/2% SRP program and left with theirs brother. Was that you too? Or did you feel that sellout along with me? You are likely one of those simpletons that cannot remember this type of activity. Not me I remember like it was yesterday. So for the first time ever, I conceded and voted yes because I had mine brother. Give me 100 lashes for being just like you then. Or better yet classify me as being discredited and/or different than you while you lie about your past.
We will see in the end how much more is gained or lost by continuing a battle with the company with ball-less leadership.
Unlike you though, I respect your opinion even if does differ from mine.

Wrong. I was sold out by the SRP program. Hired on in the first wave in Tulsa for 9 bucks a hour with 10 years experience of avionics and A/P. I was sold out by the "I got mine brother" mentality before I ever hired on. I also have not yet resorted to selling out my current and future co-workers.

And yes, the second the words "I got mine" were on the screen any respect or complaining you do about the few leaders that arent out to "I got mine" the rest of us are trivial rants from a SELLOUT. You chose to walk on the backs of every mech under 50 and all future mechs at AA to get yours! You sir, are a hypocrite!

With your A/P avionics experience what caused you to take a job at 9 bucks an hour?

Unlike you I hired about 6 years prior to you coming on board and the TWU and AA were in contract negotiations at the time. I hadn't completed my probation yet when they ratified the contract that boosted my pay by 5 dollars per hour...I was like, I'm liken this TWU....

"I was like, I'm liken this TWU...." I'm sure you do. Just like you like concessionary contracts and the inability to remove international reps. who are appointed yet do not live under the contracts they negotiate. Just like you like hiding behind an alias while trying to defend the undefendable. Just like you like the empty slogans the twu peddles... "The best is yet to come.", "We'll get them next time.", "Shared sacrifice.".

Since you are somebody regarded as fearful and uncourageous you proove every time you post here that you possess significant learning difficulties coupled with impaired social skills that are considered offensive. I'm sure the twu is "liken" you too.

ken, happy valentines day

High Speed,
Just out of curiosity, what do you like about the twu? Please be specific.
Probably the fact that he can possess next to zero knowledge about aircraft but still maintain a job while riding the backs of others.
