As I got ready to fly back to Los Angeles on a full fare ticket and received GREAT service on Hawaiian Airlines I received word that all the problems between LA and I are about 16 hours of pay. First of all I worked 21 days in Phl and she totally knew I was working a week-end as she often would joke "No one will ever accuse me of being a TG I am going home."So all of this is about a "botox shot". WAKE UP all of you scholars!!!!!!!!!!
Why would I spend 12 of my days off in August mounting this campaign. Why would My husband and I bear the cost of SUPER Top Gun Labor attorney its all out of our pocket . WHY WHY WHY??????? I thought I could swallow her bi.e well I made a tragic mistake.

I am writing out to all of you because I realize that they said it could not be done and I will WAKE YOU UP. Ask every LEC President when was the last time that the FAR were discussed . In one split second the Reserves who are 16years plus went from being the FAT CATS to being Homeless.
If all of you as Reserves and Blockholders do not DEMAND Accountability from the MEC AND your Team at the table Carol Austin #1 in Phl and in charge of Scheduling because she alone is the Keeper of knowledge than Shame on you the first time there will be no next time.
We will not need to whisper to DP to buy chap stick we as f/a will take a dry one because we did not care to show up.

Good lord! What ramblings! We certainly can tell that the HA f/a's over indulged the mini's on this flight, or maybe the poi was spiked? Uhh, you wanna see scary? Try looking at the LECP in PHL and exactly what she has done for us. STILL no e-line on this 24/7 ruling, or ANYTHING else for that matter. THAT IS SCARY. No communication WHATSOEVER since the liquid scare, and that was a cut and paste e-line from the MEC!! THAT IS SCARY. I did see her on 9/11 in the crew room walking around in a pair of black jeans and a dress shirt, introducing herself, asking us if there was anything we "needed".... THAT IS SCARY..

Hp, all you every write is how badly Baja "communicates" on here. I agree, she does not always check her work. Can't you tell that she is frustrated, under attack, and working hard to expose the wrongs of this current LECP? (all while trying to enjoy a much needed VAC, but fielding calls from FA's as well!) No one ever accused her of being an author.... If you have such a problem with her not "spell checking" her work, simply ignore her. Simple! Geez, get over it and move on. Add something positive to the thread, or simply ignore her! It's not too difficult!

PS: Shouldn't you be worrying about the fact that you are being paid less than I for flying the same routes with the same snack basket, and the fact that mgmt wants us to absorb MORE contractual "cuts?" THAT IS SCARY... No, you are just worried about Baja's word flow and spelling errors. Brilliant....SCARY....

Let me get this straight, HP is being attacked for not adding something "positive" to this thread which is a totally "NEGATIVE" post about Laura, right? I make no comment about the LEC folks in PIT and CLT. I don't know them from their input here or anywhere else. I have seen writings from the MECP, which, while found wanting, are far superior to the ramblings of BajaBabe. What I can say is the writing capacity of the three individuals at AFA 66 is far superior to anything BajaBabe is capable of producing, at least without a ghostwriter.

First off, you are wrong. Nothing is a "given." You should know that you never "assume", especially in this industry. LA is not gone, in fact, the process has just begun.

Who is Bevis? Many here at East know how she thinks and how she expresses herself because she has shown us for the last 35 years that she has been representing and fighting for us. She still is helping us to this day, even though she has been locked out of the office. Get it?

You have news for US, in AFA70, about what a LECP's responsibilities are? Don't make me laugh! We get it, trust me! I am indeed happy that the "reading and writing" skills of AFA66 are far superior to our LECVP. Wonder how their negotiating skills are....Baja is probably not as concerned about her posts on this board as she would be to, say, AFA National, which she has had a lot of correspondence with recently. She has been constantly attacked on here (by cowards who have suddenly disappeared I might add..airportman? anyone? )..... I'd be more concerned with their ability to fight for the membership, their passion, and their ability to defend and protect their membership. What's more important to you in the upcoming months?

Baja knows her stuff, like it or not. Not saying she is the "Crowned Jewel of the World," but a respectable, stand up person you would want on your side.

If you don't like it, ignore her posts! After all, you have nothing to lose, since you are so well represented by AFA66!

"For the purposes of posting...." are your first 5 words. And? So, how about, for the purposes of posting, I say that, oh I don't know, "HP FA's and US FA's are paid the same....". Doesn't make it true, but I guess I can say it....

Thanks for allowing me to be entitled to my opinion. While some may disagree, I choose to support Baja in what she is attempting to accomplish, instead of beatin' her down. Never said there was not truth in what you said, just don't think you have ANY of the facts you need to make your judgments. You may think US is just some airline that you saved, but it does come with people who have experience within the industry and the union, and we should embrace that, and learn from that. You fly for free, come meet TG! I bet you would be pleasantly surprised! She'd be happy to speak with you, and you can even understand her!

Did you ever go to www.recalllaura.com and read what TG wrote on the Home page? (Scroll down to the purple highlighted part...) It's a little more polished, which just goes to show that she is capable of writing....

Also, the posts on here are 96% entertainment, with maybe 4% facts, so take everything you read with a grain of salt....

Not just communication; but effective communication. What I don't understand is why most of the LECs depend on the MEC E-line, rather than write out their own view and positions that are representative of their group.

As I have stated on this board often, I've worked with these folks on numerous occasions in different capacities and I am NONE too impressed. How they get in these positions is beyond my comprehension and shows the strong nepitism and political back rubbing. All I know is that the members are THE ONLY element in the union that can put the right people in leadership positions, sitting in the right seats.

It is clearly evident that PHL f/as have been asleep at the wheel for many years. And now that PHL is the largest Hub, it shows across the board including the increase in grievances and the negotiations, or lack there of.

It is important to note that some of these officers have other folks who write for them on a broader scale, because of their lack of written skills. Many of the officers recognize their lack of ability in written and oral communications, and depend on others to write.

You say that many PHL FA's have been asleep at the wheel for years. Let's hope that is changing! You also say that the PIT people that are here now are going to turn the tide and rise up, all of which we have yet to see. Most I fly with still have absolutely no idea what's happening; they seem to be more worried about commuting home on their oversold RJ. Still waiting for that "uprising...."

I think that we here in PHL should be grateful that TG is moving forward with this recall. Don't forget, TG often says in her posts that if we are not content with her, she will accept the people's vote and will disappear if she is recalled as well. I will agree that her posts on here often lack proofreading, but, for me, that is not a major issue. Her heart is in the right place. You know that. Everyone knows that communication, etc... is an important part of the job. (Actually, it's the most important part of ANY job, so no newsflash there....) She has been attacked on here continuously, how would you expect her to respond? Put a lot of time and effort into her responses on here? I think not... I have seen some of what she has filed with National, and it looks good!

You say some officers have folks that write for them? Are you speaking of LEC members? How sad!! Guess we can congratulate TG for doing it on her own!

Now let's find out when LA is scheduling this meeting she is supposed to have before the AFA BOD meeting. That, to me, is a little more important than how eloquently someone writes on here.

OK! Back in Philadelphia and ready to rumble. So what I type slow and sometimes don't proof read. Its USAviation people. If you notice my elines I always have 2 people polish or proof them before sending them out while I am right there. My mind goes so fast sometimes it's hard to articuate in words, ah we all have our faults. I have to stand alone sometimes with my work. I fell on my face in Frankfurt one time and not afraid to do it again.

Communication on a message board is not all that important to me. What is sent out as an offical document would be.

Baja is standing up and taking action and that is more than most others are doing. She is moving forward to force a change that is desperatly needed when everybody else just sat back in their own world without a clue what was going on or just decided it was better to complain than take action.
