I hear BHOP in Florida is full of US crewmembers....sounds like a very sad epidemic over there. You guys should really lay off the sauce.
Maybe LA is in Rehab, too? Or a fat farm?
She is not allowed to get away with such behavior. AFA Hearing Board accepted the charges and they will hear them on September 28 in Washington. No one is above the law...period. I am already preparing my opening statement. Represenatives from Alaska, Hawaiian and United will hear this case. The masquerade is over and she has been exposed for the clown she is.
It's such a shame LA had to drag the entire council through this!
An opening statement is all well and good, but time would be better spent making sure that evidence can be presented to support/prove the charges.
While we are at it, why don't we go after the SOB's that lied to every RSV about East getting Pref. Bidding. Had we known the truth, that we would never get it, most RSV's would have voted NO in the last agreement. Talk about holding someone to a higher standard and accountability. What a joke. Our Neg. committee came to every base a preached on how Pref. Bidding would crreate more blocks, allowing 14 and 15 year RSV's the opportunity to hold a well deserved block. I'm telling you now, if something doesn't change during this next contract, something is going to hit the fan. Also, explain how, if F/A's are doing the cabin cleaning, allowing US to eliminate an entire workforce, why did we take a paycut? For Gods sake, we are actually doing someone elses job. We do someone elses job and take a big paycut, now that is a strong neg. committee. Pathetic. She is not allowed to get away with such behavior. I agree this should not be decided in this forum. Shame on those who feel the need to air this laundry for the flying public to view as well as management/other work groups etc. I have lost faith in those who have started all of this. As far as I am concerned they are just as ruthless and unethical as those they accuse. They too should be under the microscope from AFA as well as the membership.proof? evidence? support?
Is all that really neccesary for a witch hunt?
National needs to take a gander at this board to
see exactly who they are dealing with that is doing
the presenting.

Unfortunately, and often times, public exposure and scrutiny is the only way to rid organizations of political corruption. The media does it often with political figures, and Corporations terminate their officers, if their best interest is no longer served. It is part of the democratic process...for the people, by the people.
In a democratic organization such as unions...this type of public humility and exposure is a necessary evil that keeps everyone who hold these political positions, who are held to a higher standard, "in check" and serving the members' interest.
