This type of "public exposure" I would hope, is going to get the "accuser" her just desserts. The ramblings on this board are a true testiment of her character or lack there of. You know her MO, you have been on the receiving end of the barrel, but all is good now because she can further YOUR agenda.

You don't fool me, and there are many here that are not your sheep from PIT. Granted part of your flock exists and Terry staggers among them as you try to prop her up. But on September 28, you won't be there to prop her up, she'll be on her own, with her "opening staement" lacking proof and being unable to support the charges, and the witch hunt will come to a crashing end. Once again PB, you'll find yourself out in the cold tending your flock from afar.

The members don't need to prove anything for a recall of an officer and according to AFA Constitution.

A vote of "no confidence", unless the officer can prove otherwise, is enough.

Uh, as far as I know, Pitbull has never fully "endorsed" TG. And, hula, regardless of what is posted on here, TG is our best bet to right things here in PHL. She KNOWS her job, and what is right. LA does not. Hate it? Fine. Let's support her rather than push her down. She is doing something that many people (yourself included, hula) would not have the "ballz" to do. She is not hiding behind some USAV forum, promising to take down the world. She will be fully prepared, well dressed, and most importantly of all, have the best interests of the PHL FA's at heart. Believe it. That is what matters.

Maybe it's just me but the company pays the 105 hours to the LEC Presidents. WHY? So that she/he is accessable at ALL times. Hum..105 hours, international pay. Only greed could be a reason to work ANY time while representing over 5000 f/a's. It should be written (if not already) in the AFA bylaws that MEC AND LEC presidents can NOT double dip and work trips. This is taking away from critical time FOR THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS!!! REMEMBER US???

AND..Laura and ALL LEC Presidents..I do NOT want your opinions of me or if I am wrong about something. You ARE my lawyer!! You ARE my defender!! You ARE my support!! You ARE my HOPE when injustice is there whether I am a first time offender or have a file a foot deep. We expect you to support and defend us at all cause. The company PAYS you to do your job. So do it, please!!

I'm sorry, but when you are in that position, you are temporarily NOT on the line as you are our protectors now. I do NOT feel it is prudent to have to either wait until you return from Rome with your F/A husband or CALL long distance to get you.
AND, if the LEC VP has to pick up ONE OUNCE of YOUR slack, then hand the title AND pay over to her/him.

I can't speak for others, but my opinions come from nonpartial VERY reliable source who have been witness to the so called "nonsense". Actually, the true leader is our boy Mike. HE should be the PHL LEC...but God knows why would someone who really cares be in a hornets nest of corruption.

And as far as TG, I KNOW TG and KNOW her interest are sincere..known her for 16 yrs. She WOULD be a better alternative..imo only!

I'm not that shallow as to get angry with someone because that don't see things my way. Frankly, those positions breed corruptness in people. This postion should rank up there with the confidentiality of a priest or therapist. Legal action should be brought against ANYONE who breaches that.

I am not sure if you know what all the charges are facing Ms LA but they are really serious...if you havent seen them ... take a look...
1. Constant verbal abuse of council members over the telephone using her status as Local Council President for fear and intimidation, during the past 90 days.



2. The self professed declaration that she found it nearly impossible to represent members in the grievance or discipline arena because she supported management.



3. Discrimination against member ********** whose of ethnic decent by verbally berating her English skills, thereby generating a complaint to US Airways Human Resources Department against Ms Albert.



4. Deliberate misuse of privilege while LEC President. During a hospital stay in December 2005, Ms. Albert did not claim her sick time as is required of her in the Flight Attendant Agreement even after being warned by the PHL Base Director ********* to do so. Such conduct represents an unnecessary financial drain on the union. This is also a possible violation of Article X.A.d of the Bylaws (Misappropriating money or property of the Union)



5. On or about April 13, 2006 Ms. Albert initiated phone calls to management requesting the Company uphold the termination of Flight Attendant ***********.



6. On or about April 12, 2006 Ms. Albert failed to notify ********** of the member’s obligation to advise the Local Council President whether the member wished the President to file a grievance challenging her termination. Furthermore, after the envelope in a separate case was retuned from the same address, Ms. Albert added the above members name on the envelope in order to conceal her initial failure.



7. Misuse of the AFA E-line system. On August 8th, 2006 Ms. Albert maliciously used the E-line privilege extended to her as the LEC President in an attempt to slander member Michael Elias and Vice President Terry Graf. She further gave the inference of impropriety on the part of Michael Elias and Terry Graf with no basis for those claims putting Michael Elias and Terry Graf at the disadvantage with no voice to defend themselves to the membership.

There's a F/A that called Laura 3 times to asked for representation and could not get it because Laura was flying. Now they face termination.

Another situation Laura didn't file a grievance to the MEC for this F/A. Now there might be another law suite against Ms Laura and AFA for lack of representation. Plus HR charges...

HUMM...do you really want Laura representing 5000 F/A with this so called donkey show Administration? Think about it!!!

I will be prepairing documents that will clearly set the record straight on what has gone on behind the cavern of Council 70. I further want to state to all of you out there I am not here to stay forever perhaps 2 years and let it go. It's been a great ride and my memories will remain forever. Yes, hula. TG is our best bet. I HONESTLY believe she knows her job, and what is right for the, as I say, 5000 f/a's in PHL (although I never said that). She has a passion for her work. I have seen it first hand, and am absolutely not afraid to endorse her as our leader. After all, she could have very easily been elected LECP, had she run for the position.

Head not in TG's butt at all. (Grow up) She is a strong leader. Deal with it. Accept it. We are very lucky to have her on our side. Period. Oh yah, and TG barely knows me. I just know her work, and it's very thorough.

BTW, LA was in the crew room on 9/11, introducing herself and asking if ther was "any concerns that I have that she could address..." ( not makin' this up, people...) I looked at her, told her I signed the recall, but thank you anyway. You have GOT to be kidding me. Have some self respect.

As I got ready to fly back to Los Angeles on a full fare ticket and received GREAT service on Hawaiian Airlines I received word that all the problems between LA and I are about 16 hours of pay. First of all I worked 21 days in Phl and she totally knew I was working a week-end as she often would joke "No one will ever accuse me of being a TG I am going home."So all of this is about a "botox shot". If all of you as Reserves and Blockholders do not DEMAND Accountability from the MEC AND your Team at the table Carol Austin #1 in Phl and in charge of Scheduling because she alone is the Keeper of knowledge than Shame on you the first time there will be no next time.
