This is absolute BULL$^&%!!!!
Here is a RETIRED AIRCRAFT CLEANER WHO WAS THE VICE PRESIDENT OF LOCAL 562 AND BECAME PRESIDENT AFTER THE TWU OUSTED CHUCK SCHALK GETTING A FREE RIDE. HE DOESN'T EVEN GO TO THE UNION OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THIS CRAP?

There's no reason to repeat the name "massi" because if you looked at the link which started this post, it's all about MASSI!
That's his name! it's MASSI!
He's has been a one way selfish man since he started at AA over 40 years ago.
Like Bobby Gless, he never shows his face at JFK, where he worked for over 40 years.

Massi does not have the best intrest of the local at heart his only intrest is in himself. He does not go to the hall if you would like try calling during normal business hours and see what happens and how ofeten he actually answers the phone.
He was being paid quite well fromthe local but that was not good enough he wanted it all and then he does not want to do the job fully.

Nick is a dues paying member in good standing of local 562. The law states as a member in good standing (retire or not retired) he has the right to run and hold office and receive all pay and benefits do him as an officer. He is also has the backing of the AGE DISCRIMINATION ACT. If you refuse to pay and provide benefits to Nick he has every right to bring legal action against the local and will win. I don’t what kind of local you running out there but I would suggest you confer with attorney so you don’t have to answer to the federal agency as why your in violation of federal law.

I am saying that Nick Massi only cares aout Nick Massi.
Over the years, he has openly insulted aircraft mechanics saying any #### can do the job. For those of us who know Massi, we know what Massi stands for.
For those of you who don't know him, you really can't defend his character, only his right to hold office.
He is an arrogant, condescending individual. He's an older Bobby Gless who is too far in years to perform the sexual acts required to get cushy appointments in the TWU international.

Massi, like Gless, are getting paid handsomely and are not doing the jobs they are supposed to.
Gless has not shown his face at JFK since he was appointed to international rep.
Then again he rarely showed his face when he was local president.
Massi, a RETIREE, doesn't show his face either. You can't find him at the union hall as well.
This is what our union dues are paying for.
The TWU loves Gless so much that he didn't have to move to DFW where the job was originally based and uproot his family. Massi said he won't do any travelling whatsoever.
What is this? These guys are so valuable that they if they choose not to do something, that's allright

You can't have unions attacking the corporate greedy who do not share in labor's sacrifices and have your own union leaders doing the same.

OK Hopeful, so tell me since you obviously have a better knowledge of the TWU International's pay scale than I, when AA mechanics received the pay increase, what percent was it and did the International all realize that same percent? Let me hurry up your answer here, THEY DID NOT. Reason being they are paid accordingly to the total memberships, does this register? So you see your reasoning in thinking they would be taking a 17% pay cut does not hold water. It is a good way to spread disgust amongst the membership though, well done AMFA.
Point being, we are better off out of bankruptcy and you know it. We had more than one person look at AA's records and stance, they were statured to enter into bankruptcy. Had they done so MCIE and AFW would have been history, that's what, say about 3500 members? And these 3500 should have gone willingly according to AMFA. I do not buy that rubbish. Look at UAL, thank you AMFA. Do not lay blame with the IAM on that issue, you know as I that it was the AMFA supporters and organizers that threw the vote to allow UAL to enter into BK, another bit of incredible history to add to AMFA's legacy. And they call it a craft and class? I do not see to much of either in their representation they currently hold.
I thank Gless and Little for having the nerve to ask for the concessions. They acted as they should.
