Gless admits to getting Two paychecks.

Under oath Bobby Gless admits that he was getting two paychecks until three months after this thread started.

July 14 2004

Gless is being deposed by lawyer.

Q. After you had assumed your responsibility as an International Representative were you still paying dues to the TWU?

A. Yes

Q. Do you know how those dues were paid?

A. By per capita, they were deducted from a paycheck.

Notice how Gless is trying to disassociate himself. Why didnt he simply say "my paycheck"?

Q. From American Airlines?

A. From ---yes, it would be American Airlines paycheck.

Notice the hesitation and change in direction.

Q. Were you working for American Airlines at that time?

A. No

Later his lawyer asked him more on the matter.

Q. Do you recall some testimony earlier today about TWU reimbursing American Airlines?

A. Yes

Q.Was there any reimbursement going on in connection with June 2004?

A. No, there is none.

Later;

Q. What was the range, between January 2003 (When Gless became a full time International rep) and March 2004?

A. I recieved my base pay as a UBP employee from American Airlines,,,

There you have it. Gless continued getting his full pay from American Airlines while acting as a full time International Rep.

Now I'll admit that I edited this for brievity, but certainly no more than the TWU edited my testimony from my hearing. Gless did claim that the TWU reimbursed the company, however none of this required information was submitted to the DOL and Gless was not listed on the TWU Internationals LM-2 report.

By the way I was contacted by the OIG today for more information. I really cant say what we discussed at this time.

Well you guys have been screaming out for proof. Here Gless admits in sworn testimony that he was on the company patroll, while working full time for the TWU at the very same time that he was pushing massive consessions.

OK Booby, who's next? Still sore about screwing yourself out of the $800/mo, while being on AA payroll?

Nightbitch,

Money doesn't buy you integrity, as much as you wish the twu could buy yours back for you.

Wow, a twu International company union man, that's no surprise.

Must be close to making around 200K with all those pay checks from the twu and AA.

Bob, what was he testimony for?

A. I recieved my base pay as a UBP employee from American Airlines,,,

Gless is a twu International officer. Why would he be paid by AA??? Do I hear trouble in twu paradise???

Maybe it has something to do with Gless getting two full time pensions. One as if he worked the whole time with the company and one from the TWU, both concurrently. I think its commonly known as "double dipping".

Well tomorrow Gary Yingst gets his turn to testify. Should be fun.

A few weeks back the lawyers for the TWU went crying to the judge for a Gag order concerning the depositions. The judge called the TWU "childish" and refused to grant their request.

Yingst gets deposed on Thursday November 11

Sonny Hall on Monday November 22

Jim Little on Thursday, December 16

Well it went well today. I'll have to wait for the transcripts before I make any actual quotes.

This time they showed up in force. Along with Gary was Little, Gless, Rosen and of course thier lawyer, Vitale.

By the way if anyone wants copies let me know, when I get them ready I'll send them out.

Its scary how dumb these guys are, especially when you consider that they have our careers in their hands.

However upon request of the TWUs lawyers I will be editing out their home addresses because for some reason they dont want anyone to know where they live.

Oh one thing I will let out is that Yingst said that its OK for TWU members to be associate members of AMFA, just not officers. So there you have it, the head of the ATD now says its ok to pay dues to AMFA.

I'm glad that is just his opinion and not fact. I do not agree with him on that item at all. If it's wrong for a member, officer or not, then it's wrong. Any lawyer worth his weight would rip that one wide open.

Well with the TWU what the Inrternational opins is fact, at least as far as they are concerned.

Wait a few more weeks and I'll have a lot more. Would you like a copy of the transcript? Then you can see the caliber of the people the TWU International put in place to represent you.
