You just PROVED your ignorance! No pilot at UAIR makes that kind of money. SW pays MORE than UAIR pays their pilots. Flight crews ARE NOT the problem here! With your attitude, I wouldn't hire you either. Maybe getting rid of folks with the "company owes me" attitude should be priority number 1!

You had the opportunity to move and keep your job and your pay, YOU chose not to. Look in the mirror, that is the person to blame, no one else, the IAM did not do it, the company did not do it, you did it!

I would think you are a grown person and can accept responsiblity for your actions instead of blaming others.

You are not the first person in this company who faced the same choice, instead they chose to move and keep their job, and you chose the opposite, no one to blame except yourself.

Thousands of US Airways' employees have had to move over the years to keep their job, it is an inconvience, but an option that employees have had.

So it is about time you grow up and accept the choice you made, not the choice the IAM made nor the company.

I have to agree with 700UW on this.

My job did not start out as a "Unionized Position"...yet I was acreeded into the IAM with no say so in the matter.

Almost a year later...the lumping together of job classifications and senority put me on the short end of the stick and offered me two options. Option one was to leave my home in CLT and go to PIT to learn and perform a somewhat un-related job....and Option two was to quit.

I'm glad I stayed..and I would not trade what I learned or the relationships I established in PIT for anything. I firmly believe that my attitude and approach to this circumstance was one of the main reasons fate allowed me to return to CLT and the job that I was hired to perform in the first place.

Life has always presented me strange twists...and this industry due to it's fluid and mobile nature tends to compund that. Part of being in this industry and being valuable to it , does come at a heavy price at times , if you are on the outside looking in....and you had another path to remain here? You are the only person that you should be taking issue with for not being a bit more flexible with your circumstance. I fully belkieve that additional changes are in the cards for us....and if those changes mean leaving or staying in CLT , I'll address that subject yet again....but win , lose or draw ? I will accept the fall-out of the choices that I have made for myself.

You should say libel. Slander is spoken. But actually, it's neither since he probably did indeed rape Brodrick. She's a Democrat and had nothing to gain by making her accusation against Clinton. In fact, it had to be dragged out of her by Ken Starr's folks. At the time of the rape, she mentioned it to friends. She no doubt feared that nothing could be done against the Attorney General of the state (Arkansas) which would have to prosecute. Clinton also groped Kathleen Willey, another Democrat, in the White House. It simply amazes me how Clinton's supporters can ignore the simple fact that their man is a complete and total slimeball. Much as Michael Jackson's supporters ignore his predilection towards pedophilia and OJ's supporters care more about his football prowess than the fact that he murdered two people. Not the worst President in history but one of the worst men ever to hold the Office. If character doesn't count, then it's no problem. Bush is no angel, nor is any politician, but when I used to see pics of Clinton trotting down the steps of the White House on Sunday mornings, bible in hand, on his way to church, it made me want to puke. In terms of how this relates to US Airways, perhaps if BJ Bill had been more concerned with world terrorism than in having his pecker serviced, 9-11 wouldn't have happened and US Airways and it's employees wouldn't be in the fix they're in today.
