So now the IAM is on notice. But on notice for what exacally? What is it that they have to get done or they are gone? Is it industry leading pay? Benefits? Highest pension multiplier? Bring all outsourcing in house? Be specific.

Is it me or did anyone else notice what the numbers revealed?

The Teamsters filed 2800 cards.
The Teamsters received 1418 votes.
There is a difference of 1382 votes.

Now if 2800 guys signed IBT cards why so few voted for the IBT?
Didn't the IAM make a claim of questionable cards?
How many did they suspect were forged?
By the numbers the 1382 number looks very suspicious.
So how many really signed IBT cards?
One would think that a handful might change their minds and vote for the IAM.
But over 1300? I wonder if the NMB is looking at this closely at the AA filing investigation.
1025 did not vote. Could this be the guys that were unable to be contacted like the IAM and USAir claimed?
Mighty suspicious.

I want to say to all of the IAM represented mechanics at USAir THANK YOU for NOT bringing IN the IBT. Smart move.

Now we the mechanics of the new American Airlines need to work together and get rid of the industrial unions TWU/IAM from our class and craft. Lets Vote this assoc. down force the NMB to give us a vote and then we can write in AMFA. Thus you keep what pension you have now. Since AMFA wants nothing to do with pensions and AA and the IAM will have to manage the pensions for us all even though frozen we won't loose them.

Again Congrats for NOT VOTING IN THE IBT.

OK… let me see if I understand you correctly—You want M&R to vote down any alliance, and vote in AMFA?! Now… in so doing this… you are freely admitting that the existing pension plan will cease to exist, and will no longer accrue future benefits… in fact “Frozen” at the point of the Union change?

Good luck selling that to the rank and file; it’ll go over like a lead balloon!
