Since there was no election being held at US with AMFA on the ballot, and they still got a % of votes speaks volumes over the current union and still against the union trying to get in. Some very sad numbers at US that tell a lot about how the membership feels. Travis just maybe we will hear some good news after Seham addresses the NMB this morning. BTW; we have already told you that our contract will not be settled for years, we know this already, no hurry, why rush thru it? Why do you keep harping on this issue? psssst....amfa was notified about the Teamster filing at the same time as the TWU and the company. The IBT lawyers sent all interested parties, this included amfa, advanced notification on intent to file. The company responded, amfa procrastinated and failed.

I think you are missing something here Anomaly, the ibt just pulled the rug out from under a few thousand supporters here at aa without even a whisper of discussion about it with them. If you think anything the teamsters say here will carry any credibility, I just don't know what to tell you. I feel bad for the supporters as some are my friends and they worked hard to bring it to a vote.

I still say the NMB needs to complete their forgery/fraudulent investigation of the teamsters and dole out some punishments. This is the only reason the teamsters just pulled out of this election. It had nothing to do with the announcement from the DOJ. It's only an announcement not guaranteed.

Heard they met. No decision yet. When a decision is made we will all know. It will be posted here and all the union websites.

When the facts are laid out it's clear what happened. The IBT knew they did not have enough cards so they filed early with forged cards to block AMFA from filing. AA's actions certainly are hard to explain other than collusion with the same objective in mind even if the two parties never actually sat down together and discussed it, has a carrier ever responded as quickly as AA did? One question, why would two IBT organizers admit to fraud when there was nothing legally compelling them to do so? Looks very suspicious.
