iam twu alliance vote

TRAVIS said:
Never said it was a IBT proposal. What makes me laugh thirdseatzero is your AMFA is STILL OUT THE DOOR at UAL get over it or vote them out.

You know I my be going about this the wrong way, Maybe we should VOTE in AMFA here at AA just for you and 1AA.....yep that GAG IMPULSE IS BACK....

3rd and 1AA if it makes you boys feel any better I would vote AMFA before TWU...After looking at what the TWU has done to the AMT's at AA I moved them all the way to the bottom.
1. IBT  2. IAM  3. AMFA  4.No Union  5. TWU.
IMO I don't think AMFA has the Professional Experience nor the Finical Ability to run the Worlds Largest Airlines union.
At the last Major Airline they were kicked out (UAL) and the one before that they made all the wrong moves at the wrong time and that hurt them bad (NWA) and you can try to sugar coat that total fu#k-up all you want, AMFA dropped the ball period. They should have not walked out with the scabs trained and ready to go.

If you two want to keep throwing rocks, Come on. I don't have nothing but time because I have the IAM working for me and I'am still waiting for my first Contract as a IAM member to vote on.
Hope you boy have a nice Christmas because Parker and the boys have been known to make employee's feel real special at Christmas.

See ya next YEAR.

Who said anything about AMFA?

I merely pointed out that your previous post in which you stated in part ....looks like the IBT at UAL is hard at work...... was a laugh as 2 of your 3 contractual links were company proposals.

You obviously can't rectify this gaff so you launch into your oh so typical teamsters speak.

Again, thanks for the laugh.  :-D

Your welcome.. But what I was getting at was the fact that the IBT at UAL is at best working with some kind of offer from the Company unlike here with the IAM and US and if I'am not mistaken have dates set for talks ...........Again, Your welcome.

The proof is in the pudding....lets see how welcome you are when the putting come to fruition

How will they get them to buy the alliance?

Same way they got them to buy the worst contracts in the industry, through fear and misinformation. They may tell the workers either accept the alliance or you have No union.  Doubt that's even legal, after all there is a binding contract, if the Unions walked away from the members what happens to the contract? Fiduciary responsibility. If they were to walk away because we didn't approve their plan we could sue them for damages, they took our money, they have to enforce the contracts and represent us.  Workers cant get out of a contract by switching unions, why would a Union be able to take a contract away from workers? The rationale behind not allowing workers to get out of a contract by switching unions is that the deal is the members deal, so changing representation does not negate the deal, well wouldn't they be obliged to continue to represent us until there was another organization there to take over the contract?

I will vote against the alliance regardless of what they threaten us with. If they do actually say that we either accept what they are offering or we wont have a union then I will write in somebody else. I cant imagine that any Union has the power to tell their members either accept what we tell you to do or you will have no longer have a Union or a contract. If they try and pull a stunt like that I think they may find that they have played the fear card one time too many.

Hey Mike go to the thread on the USAIR forum and see my responses from the NMB.

I already read it..and swamts' also. You both are missing something.......but he's a WN employee and you are with JP morgan...no offense but unless you are a USairways  or AA employee affected by the situation, you may never know what that something is. Well maybe after the fact you may.........

We're in mediation, and still waiting to hear from the NMB. We currently have no dates set for talks, so yes.....you are mistaken.

Nice try though.

AA cant freeze the IAMNPF, they are not the owners nor managers of it, the only way contributions would stop if is the IAM and the membership approves changes in a new CBA.

And the IAM and the TWU are both on record and have a signed agreement to negotiated the IAMPF for the TWU members at the new AA.
Hello!!  "In nego to get JCBA"  Where were you?  Read and comprehend would you?  BTW, any comments from you in the US thread about the 3rd response from the NMB on who will conduct the alliance election?  Myself and Josh received the very same response from the NMB.  Now, what says you 700???

Really?  This is your response after hounding us for the results?  Now we are "missing something"?  What is it we are missing Mike33, what is it?  You are exactly just like the others, once you have been proven wrong you completely backpedal just like 700 and others.  Both Mike and myself took the time to inquire from the NMB what 700 and the IAM is trying to "inject" into it's members to force the alliance vote to go thru, and now it is coming to light what they are doing.
Now on a second note;  If we are really missing something, then so is the membership, and therefore, why not publish what the membership IS missing?  Because the IAM and the TWU wants to leave them in the dark, that's why.  Who gives a shite that I am a SWA mechanic?  And why does that matter?   For the mere fact that you are hiding issues that affects the members speaks volumes...

Looks like Mikey didn't get the results he wanted.  LOL...
