so, where does AS have ramp employees and how many?

Menzies?

yeah, I get AS paid out better profit sharing - so you want to add it back to all of the charts that the IAM has produced that don't include it for DL since it now matters that AS has it?

And let us know how many LESS employees AS has than if they had their own staff at levels comparable to the rest of the US legacy/airline/global industry.

Do you ever have an original post or idea?

And this is a union thread about Delta, is that too hard to understand?
Your so full of sh!t.....seen many of post from you, outside of this thread spouting your "Union or Die" rhetoric!

Keep spinning.

AS has a better profit sharing and is highly unionized than deltoid.

And you stated deltoid had the best, well seems AS just topped that.
But yet the Boardroom employees are not covered under your CBA. AS is a small carrier apples and orange comparison that's what you say about regionals. DL is a larger global airline, AS largely flies throughout North America. Enlighten us how many rampers the IAM CBA covers.

And DL not AS has been named as one of the 50 most admired companies in the world.

Not thousands...just 50

And DL employees work the ramp at their own HDQ city plus many more

And it was also recognized as one of the least admired too.

Neat.

AS has also won the JD Power award DL so covets.

WGAF?

You can foam all you want; I'm just happy aviation in the US is on the upswing, and blue collar employees are benefitting. It's been awhile.

From the form 10-K annual filing February 2010 from Alaska Air Group (ALk):

"Grievance with International Association of Machinists

In June 2005, the International Association of Machinists (IAM) filed a grievance under its Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) alleging that Alaska violated the CBA by, among other things, subcontracting the ramp service operation in Seattle. The dispute was referred to an arbitrator and hearings on the grievance commenced in January 2007, with a final hearing date in August 2007. In February 2010, the arbitrator issued a final decision. The decision does not require Alaska to alter the existing subcontracting arrangements for ramp service in Seattle. The award sustains the right to subcontract other operations in the future so long as the requirements of the CBA are met. The award imposes monetary remedies which have not been fully calculated, but are not expected to be material."

Again do you really think much of the traveling public cares about either? I know DL management does and we have been through this but everyone keeps harping on these "awards" that have questionable objectivity and consistent criteria. Even the HVCs that DL is actively pursuing don't give a hoot what award is attached to the airline-Forbes, Fortune, JD Power, Travel+Leisure, they just want efficient, reliable, and reasonably pleasant travel experience which IMO DL provides.

How many stations does Delta fly into in the US, 200?

And you only have mainline ramp in 43?

UA will be 7 stations in a few years.

What about US? Or is 141 not your district so you won't weigh in?
