So will they get AS type scope and have hubs get vendored?  Will the IAM improve on 220 employees in four stations or go backwards from there?

All 220 that is. I mean I get that it was a cheaper campaign for the IAM to run than DL and will net fewer dues payers but is it really that big of a victory for the IAM or the broader labor movement?

Congrats to NK     Kev  I sure hope and would love to see you folks become UNION so that you folks can have a say in matters bro.     WT  as for the 25k former NWA union folks.  gee I wonder how much DL paid to keep the unions out....  seems that is the philsophy of mgmt these days

im not saying that  south.   I may not be an employee of DL but its just my wish to see DL folks become union.   Ill tell you this about 700  he knows his stuff when it comes to the IAM  He the one who helped me get the ball moving further along the flight path for my grievance case  to the point some changes had to be made.  So While I do understand your against the unions  and I understand your dislike of him I do gotta hand it to him for helping me out and I think all he trying to do is just simply help and all   Yes he and I have had our fair share of disagreements  esp back in the dark days at US but the man knows his stuff regarding the union.
As for Josh  he just flame baits 700 every shot he gets and I would think you would be tired of it just like me.

DL gave them pay raises which were right in line with what ALL DL people have gotten since the elections were certified to show that the unions were not voted in.

DL people before the election got the same pay raises before the elections were certified that everyone has received since.

so your loyalty to 700 and to the IAM is because of what US has done to you and their attempts to reverse it?

1st of all I don't dislike 700, I dislike the fact that he has nothing to do with DL, supposedly has nothing to do with the IAM, yet he is the most vocal person on this thread, and if what he claims is true, about no affiliation with either, he has nothing to lose or gain.
 
And you can just call me ying to his yang, because there "ARE" valid reasons, not to have union representation, especially when they're no better than the company they've infiltrated!

Ah I see you post selective information, let me post the reality:
 
Today UA announced that after the "market review" we will continue to ground handle our flights at KOA, LIH, and OGG.
ABQ, BUF, CHS, CLT, CMH, DSM, DTW, ELP, FSD, ICT, PNS and SLC (ramp) will be out sourced.
We will also take back all above the wing functions at HNL as will as express handling at PHX and IAD. Total job loss for the outsourcing is over 600 with over 400 gained due to the insoucing. Net job loss approx 200 jobs.

Good and bad news. Today. Transition expected to be completed by October.

Then why dont you say the same to 737823, he is a passenger, and has nothing to do with Delta?

Why dont you say the same to WT who is collecting is frozen retirement check and hasnt been at DL in years?
 
Why dont you say the same about yourself, you are not ACS nor Inflight?

and yet DL managed to continue to increase profits despite increasing the salaries of its workers.

If DL had posted record profits as US did and yet the board would be lit up with cries for the failure of mgmt. Why aren't we hearing about the complete failure of the labor unions at other airlines to keep up with DL?

It's not just the back 4 in Brazil that failed. It was a complete meltdown and the country is suffering and grown men are crying.
