What recourse does a union have when any company files BK..........................NONE!

It called Section 1113 C process, the company and the have to negotiate concessions, unlike what happened to you at DL where they could do what they want.

And what does Chapter 11 have to do with anything I asked?

And whenever you bring up Chapter 11 defending concessions at IS saying they had second bankruptcy "only" nine years ago it rarely has anything to do with the topic at hand. The point is the IAM didn't do much to protect the members, sure they sent out a fee bulletins "fraternally yours" but the Sitos, Roaches, and Buffenbargers kept getting rich while the members suffered and sacrificed. You continue to defend what happened at US then come here and say it's old news at DL, simply amazing.

What questions do you have about my family business? None of your business. You know my family is in the real estate business I know first hand how destructive the construction unions are throughout New England and other areas they have influence (NYC mainly) That's no secret.

did you forget that BOS BUF PHL and PIT were the original UNION stations....   I knew a former mgr who left ABE to go to BUF and he did not last but 6 months   talk about union power!

I did not lie, the new scope language protects all staffed stations from closing and when the full language is released you will see the staffing formula to insource work, just like how the IAM saved several stations from being outsourced for the past two years at US.

Are you freakin serious?  "when the full language is released"   And you expect the members to vote now?  Really?  Sounds exactly like the past TWU contracts that never gave the full language prior to the vote, how MO FO can you expect anyone to vote on something that is not set in writing yet??  Vote this crap down you guys!!  You would be idiots if you vote something in that is not fully drafted yet, just ask the AA guys about that.  How freakin pathetic...

The full language will be released BEFORE the members vote, your making up things once again.
 
Meetings are starting tomorrow and voting wont be until July 18th.

The difference is I dont claim to speak for anyone or any organization, unlike WT.

You right you don't claim to speak, you do speak for the IAM plenty as if you are their chief damage control officer.

as far as my grievance goes  I know where it stands but let me ask you this..  what would an UN Unionized DL employee do if DL pulled that crap on you?  What recourse do you have?   This is one of the reasons why I personally would love to see a union whether its the IAM or whatever get voted in at DL so that those folks there would have a say in the matters  voting etc etc etc

 
But Robbed you have to agree five years and no movement on your grievance is pretty pathetic.  Do you ever wonder why you are paying for "representation"?
