tim.
"BTW, over in the United ORD breakrooms, before they ran Randy off, he was handing out some merger information. He never made it to The US AIRAYS breakroom."

tim that would be because of his arrogance HE is so convinced that HE has the WEST suckered into this vote that its a done deal.

by having his mouthpiece spout off about the poor west and class II . which THEY CREATED . Doing the old divide and conquer

thing.. These guys are so predictable and transparent (quote from ROA) that its actually amusing....

rock,

"Remember we are not one unless we can come together in the common good."

can I quote you on that . That's awesome....thanks

PJ,
"Please tell us when is the time to fight? The IAM likes to throw that phrase around alot, so when is the right time."

pj in order for your soldiers to have the courage to fight. YOUR LEADERS NEED TO SHOW THEIR COURAGE . .

unfortunately we went from having the DON of the IAM to the COWARDLY LION..

guess who will come a knocking to represent if a non-union airline pursues us..

funny back when the ibew was looking the IAM all of a sudden seem to grow some B*lls . what happened ????

anyone want to guess where DF ran off to. heres a clue. " hello Randy this TR.. yea thats right they are talking about you

what do you want me to say ."

DF,

Please tell us when is the time to fight? The IAM likes to throw that phrase around alot, so when is the right time. Did you tell that to our West Brothers and Sisters, after you guys stopped section 6 for the West to pursue a substandard and concessionary T/A for all? Why did the IAM stop section 6 for the West anyway? Section 6 and transition negotiations could have, and should have been ongoing together. And after 2 years of record profits, and stall tactics from the company, why should we be in a hurry to appease the company. The company sure as heck did not want to negotiate when the money was rolling in now did they? So if you could, please explain why we can't put the milk back into the jug. And while you are at it, please explain to our West brothers and sisters wht the IAM did not pursue their section 6 after the IAM was certified as their representation, when the TWU were in "full blown" section 6 already? And do you honestly think that any company that merges with us will entertain the thought of opening up transition negotiations with us before our CBA is up, provided that the merging company is unionized, and that said union is the IAM. If the said union is not the IAM do you honestly think that we on the East side anyway would or should vote for the IAM to represent us? Why should we. The so called concession stand that was "CLOSED" seems to open up whenever the company wants it to. So I will ask you again after my rant, when is the RIGHT TIME TO FIGHT IN THE IAM'S EYES! And please answer for both questions.
PJ, I'm not dodging the question. This industry is in turmoil and the IAM is the most experienced union in this industry. Northwest risks losing their union with a Delta merger. And whoever merges with Continental risk losing their union also. You will become employees at will if you vote out your union and you also risk losing your contract and your future years in your IAM pension plan.

PJ, the last 7 years have been difficult for any union to fight because of the Bush administration. And now isn't the time either. We are a democratic union and if fleet service rejects this tentative then we will go back to the table and try again. By then, a merger may have passed your company by so don't blame the IAM for that.

Remember the pixar movie a "bug's life"? The ants were small but together they are stronger then what faced them. The company thinks of us no differently. We must say with one voice, Enough! Enough of the millions of dollars bonuses!

Think how much would US Airways have "earned" if they didn't give out that money? It is with our blood and our sweat that the fat cat's earn those millions of dollar's.

Someone show me the loss figures when we take away the millions of dollar's that this company gave in bonuses this.

Isn't what Randy is doing, such as "invalidating" nominations and grossly misinterpreting the bylaws (assuming the accusations are true and factual) illegal? Maybe the DOL needs to get involved.

Mr. Farce…

I agree to an extent…

If a potential “Merger†passes us (Fleet) by… which I find incredibly hard to believe that Fleet could actually prevent this… Case in point, Delta and Northwest Pilot groups.

This inevitable Airline Consolidation is going to take place, regardless of whether we ratify, or reject this Tentative Agreement.

The question, that then remains is…are we (Fleet) willing to accept a substandard T/A to facilitate this transaction? Mr. Farce…educate us… Mr.700... got any input?

geez Tommy boy. I didn't realize our neg team sat across from Pres Bush. I would have thought he would be a little to busy.

?? for you . Do you really go to bed at night with a clear conscience. because the excuses you come up are so NON UNION .

really . I know for the west these are all NEW EXCUSES FROM THE IAM , but come on man . the east is so tired of hearing

how OUR STRONG UNION keeps cowaring down to the BIG BAD COMPANY.. Dude your a joke .!!!!!!!!!!

roa,
"which I find incredibly hard to believe that Fleet could actually prevent this… "
