DL 141 Officer Election Update
Because of that decision Randy Canale has told Rich Delaney that he must resign his AGC position, which he has held longer then any other AGC on that board, with over two years left on his term. If he doesn't resign by Tuesday Randy Canale will remove his name from the ballot and declare himself the winner.

Can anyone help me out, ive been reading the contract over and over, im a westie, and i want a honest answer!!!

Under what power, what law etc. does the iam/Canale have the powers/right's to put us under the east contract, if its a no vote?

All these negotiations were because of potential investment in your company. Without M & A activity your company would not have come back to the table. That is why it is crucial for this agreement to ratify. Do you think any merging partner will want the CIC in your contract?

Ok, I am going to call Bull $h_t on this. Who is really going to reap the benefits of this merger? It will be Parker and his crew and Tilton and his people. They are going to walk away from this merger with “Tens of Millions of Dollars†personally, from stock options and their COC in their contracts!

I can see it now;

Parker: Damn those pesky Rampers and their COC! If only they would have accepted that wonderful “Wal-Mart†inspired contract, we would be merging right now and I would be walking away with “Tens of Millions of Dollarsâ€!

So the point I am trying to make is that this merger is not going to be stopped because of the COC and the refusal of the POS TA. Parker and Tilton will not forgo their “Tens of Millions of Dollarsâ€, because they wouldn’t give us another week of vacation, full sick time, all our Holidays back, overtime and not contracting out those 19 stations. Ask yourselves, “ would you give up your Tens of Millions of Dollars for those itemsâ€? We have already heard what some will give up for $4 more an hour.

Just my opinion…but they will be back at the table.
