boy can you be any dumber....of course this t/a is worse how could they use scare tactics to convince you to vote for for it if it was better.this only proves the point as to how ignorant the company thinks we as a group are.the company is arrogant and thinks we the unskilled are as dumb as a rock.guys like you prove their point everyday.im tired of guys complaining about how much they make on the west side but who is to blame for that.if you cant make it on your salary then do something about it and tell the company enough is enough.dont fall into the idea that they care about you at all.i was f/t and when us went into bk i lost my f/t status and was p/t for 3 years because i would not move .my choice.i took a 62 percent pay cut as a result and still fed my family and helped my daughter get through college.you do what you have to but i will not let this company dictate to me that i am some kind of clown.as far as stock prices what the h=ll does that matter.as of today..amr closed at 6.91...lcc at 6.25..nwa at 7.10...dal at 6.56...ual at 13.95...cal at 16.04.using your logic all these airlines must be going under as well.get real.grow a set and become a manager if you want to.

I can assure you that those who nominated the New Direction team were only disgruntled members who spent over two years making themselves organized enough to pick up a few nominations. 9 of their nominations were illegal. In June, the polls will be open for a democratic vote where more than disgruntled workers will be able to vote.

With upcoming mergers, Randy Canale's experience in working with the airlines will carry alot of weight with the United and US AIRWAYS members.

we in PHX aren't going to fight for you anymore , at least i'm not , and if that's how i feel , then it's likely a large majority feel that way as well ...

Your company stock is below $7. Now isn't the time to fight. Do you think we like this tentative agreement? It's worse than the one in September that you should have ratified. What choice do you have if you want your company to participate in M & A activity? Investors want signed contracts, not labor problems.

Don't compare apples with oranges.

I would rather wait until we merge with another carrier and then have it all out in 2009. After the airline industry consolidates and raises prices on tickets there is going to be much more money to go around.

I do not want to get stuck with some backseat cheap deal for years when all this happens while Parker and crew have more $$$ thrown at them.

Freedom, I commend the PHX leadership and how they have stood tall in solidarity and fought this company. The east has always been divided and they couldn't even pull 50% strike votes yet they are trying to split the west by having LAS vote with them.

I'm not sure what the issue is in LAS but it may be the part time ratios and layoffs. However, this agreement won't be operationally integrated for some time, therefore, in all reality this agreement won't apply to the current situation in LAS.

What's important is that the members in LAS understand that if this tentative agreement is rejected that they will not be merged into the east contract. They will stay at their current wages, possibly until 2009.
Do they want the current wages in place until December 31, 2009?

We (Fleet) are more than willing to give this to you (The IAM)…as well as the Company.

However… can you guarantee us… that we will be rewarded for this concession in the future regarding our participation in making this transaction possible?

If not… please understand that a substandard agreement is inadequate to us.

2009 = 2010 ....

it's not like we're going to snap our fingers and WOOSH section six , not to mention the gov may not allow section 6 at that time , because if we DO merge with another carrier we may be required to ALL of us attempt to bargain as one unit.... 3 different unions with three different wage scales , do you know how long that could take to come to agreement on one TA ? heck we're two unions now and we can't decide....

brothers , sisters , ask yourselves how many years are you ready to give to the waiting game ?

that's not my main point thou ...

the economy is starting to crumble ... those huge profits that some of us think could be there , might only end up being enough to allow our company to survive .

I was hired east lived thru alot of BS moved west got bumped and moved around I know what its like to see the west coast close down first hand and I'm sure many will feel the same pain out west very soon if this rag get ratified. You got less than ten years my advice is start packing.

btw do you guys in phx have a working " O" key on the company computers? if so how about learning how to final a load plan as in BO(that's bags outbound for you phx guys) instead of all bags on the plane list as BL come on is it really that hard?
