I Got 15 Kids & 3 Babydaddys-SOMEONE'S GOTTA PAY FOR ME & MY KIDS!

Which "Root Cause"? The one where the Mother is as dumb as a bag of hammers? Her blatant sense of entitlement? Look comedian Ron White said it best. "You can;t fix stupid"

Yes you can fix stupid or are you implying that the people in the US are not as capable as those in the rest of the western world were the birth rate is substantially less than here in the US?

You made no comment about the 400,000 children in the US fostercare system and how your plan will add to the system that is already over burdened. How many kids will you be adopting? Also, how are you legally supporting you confiscation of children into the foster care system?

In a perfect world all parents would raise there own kids. That doesn't happen here in some cases. Honestly I'd like to see privately run Orphanages as part of the solution. I think there may be a deterrent factor there. Short of that, we've seen first hand what a cradle to grave social safety net does to people and it's not good.

The answer lies within the private sector charities and the judiciary.

Private sector relies on profit. Their concern about quality only goes as far as the dollar signs. look at our health care as a perfect example of private sector care. I do not see foster care being any better under the private sector then our joke of a health care system.

The photos in eolsen's two posts are blatantly and glaringly racist. Really?

A mixed, stereotypical "white trash" woman with a long haired black man are depicted as "the problem", and a clean cut white professional depicted sadly watching the collapse of the city???

...

E... Seriously dude, you should get out in the world and meet some real people.

Seriously, dude, I've lived most of my life in flyover country. By choice.

If you didn't catch where the photos came from, shame on you. Mike Judge clearly gets it.

Shame on me, for what?

Not recognizing Mike Judge's work?

I don't know who he is.

Don't care either.

Whatever the original context...

I do know It wasn't he who posted the pics, with the apparent intent of lending support too the topic of this thread.

That was you.

There are people like that, and/or people who find themselves in that situation. Stereotyping all aid recipients with those images is not only wrong, but blatantly racist, and still nothing more than a base attempt to stir up emotional reactions, all of them negative.

There are plenty of folks, across the entire spectrum of race/religion/region/etc... getting various forms of aid who are actually quite able to take care of themselves.

Some of them need a little help.

Maybe some education, so they are able to get hired at a job that doesn't require heavy lifting, or standing, or whatever their disability is.

Whatever the reason, it may not be strictly my responsibility to help, but I think we should.

Need, and progress, and working towards being as self-sufficient as possible should of course be prerequisites.

It doesn't take hate, or fear.
