Oh come on Clear. Relative position according to plane category, CPT/FO, and active or furloughed.... that is WAY different than relative position on the Nic. Relative position according to the Nic would result in huge upheaval to pilot relative positions on types, CPT/FO, and status... that is why there is a dispute.. remember?

Don't stress yourself too much though. Just accept the fact that the company, APA, and USAPA all have the easy out that you voted in by 98%. They just mill around and do nothing but waist time until the process (and responsibility) is taken out of their hands. Breathe... Breathe... Breathe...
That just goes to show how the delay has harmed the west. That is also why the Nicolau will be used in the next merger.

Those junior east captains that just managed to cling on to a captain seat. Get used to reserve because for the next several bids west pilots will be bidding into our rightful spots.

Yes the east way for the company and APA is to accept the Nicolau , avoid the law suit and we all move on.

The company hasn't stuck its neck out for you yet. What makes you think things will change now, especially after the vote on Feb 8th?

So sad. You are butt hurt that someone came along and pointed out that your career sucked and you worked for a lousy airline.
Fine, you keep PHX and we'll keep our "lousy airline".
How do you feel now that the industry sees you as a group that refuses to keep your word and proven to be the poorest excuse for a union in the business?
I couldn't give a FF what the "industry" thinks, but since you brought it up, I have NEVER talked to another pilot outside of this airline that put in the same position didn't feel the same way. BTW, I agree with you regarding USAPA.
What put you at odds with the west was you refusing to accept the ruling
Sorry, but I'm not sorry.
As far as the parity goes. The west did support parity right up to the time when the east picked up your ball and left.
Misinformed. Better check with Johnny Mac.
The east wanted a pay raise and the west to get nothing.
We did want a contract but it wasn't in the best interest of the company. They saved a bundle.

Except we are one airline now. There was a merger as much as you try and deny it.

But you sure gave a FF what Nicolau thought. Said so yourself.

Liar or misinformed...take your pick. Better check with Johnny Mac. We did want a contract but it wasn't in the best interest of the company. They saved a bundle.

Tell me. What was the date that Johnny Mac said that? Before or after the east walked out?

But that still does not answer the question why usapa could not get parity after 5 years of being the exclusive bargaining agent.

You think you recovered the fumble and ran it in for a touchdown with the vote. 98% of us see it this way.

When you catch your breath, don't forget to spike the football.

Yeah, now that we have something you want.

Don't act stupid. You know darn well why. Management didn't want one and DiOrio is an idiot.

 that's UHaul thinking he arrived in CLT. He shoula noticed there was grass only on the field.

Word association.
Would that be Shula as in Don and the 1972 Dolphins? Some great teams in the 70's. Who could forget the Pittsburgh/Dallas series..

Yeah, now that we have something you want.

So that is not the west fault now is it that you did not get parity.

You did say.

I hate the fact that it put us at odds with many West pilots, but their leadership was no friend of ours with regards to parity or anything else for that matter.

Finally some honesty.

Spinning my words again. We deserved parity from the get go. So did you on the 757...equal pay for equal work, REGARDLESS whether there was a JCBA or not. Is that plain enough?

Yes, the iphone auto correct adds to the entertainment value here on the boards. But you knew I would blame it on something/someone else.. I'm and Eastie.

But in all seriousness, if the POR happens, the company is scott free and doesn't have to ever deal with the seniority dispute ever again. APA and USAPA will have to decide if they 1) want to hash out something within a wide range of reasonableness (and face the hassle of lawsuits) or if they 2) would prefer to avoid any personal inconveniences of lawsuits by simply doing nothing and waiting for the arbitrator to divide the baby. I'm guessing option 2 because reps are mere mortals.

As an iPhone user myself, I have sympathy. This is a great site where iPhone users put their conversations where Siri is of no help.

It also has a few tips for thawing.

True for our dispute.

Maybe another story when it comes to the TWA guys. It was surprising to see Parker (and the APA) step into traffic on the STL base closure. Should be interesting (in the ancient Chinese curse sort of way.)
