Dave the "drama queen".Good for you, Greeter! You got yours. A 1985 hire at a "major airline" that was sure to go out of business in 2005-2006.
All that it cost you was:I don't know how this will finally end. Hearing how you finally got yours at the expense of the AWA pilot group makes it very difficult to entertain a shred of compassion for you and your group.
- $10,000,000.00+ of our dues.
- $3,000,000.00+ of Leonidas' funding & funds used to defend the Cactus 18(24+) in defense of the continued persecution and cheating of the former AWA pilots.
- The complete inability to EVER take any of you at "your word" ever again.
- Your integrity.
- Perhaps a small piece of your Soul.
I guess the courts will hopefully bring this to a conclusion.

What T/A....it's the MOU now.I don't think he ever read the transition agreement.
I'm with you, but actually the TA hangs around just like our contracts until the effective date. The MOU does make it quite clear that there is an east and west list as well as the process to merge the two with APA. It also says that any JCBA, real or hidden, will not effect these current lists that are in effect. I still can't see why the west voted for this, but it is pretty well spelled out and is clearly what they wanted. What T/A....it's the MOU now.

Said the pilot group that called out the CIRP at the delivery of the Nicolau Seniority list following the final & binding arbitration....

Move...how's it going?I think your wife called?
You can't fire someone for refusing to pay assessments but you can get them fired for refusing to pay dues.

That seat has always been mine up until now, and that may not continue. But you and yours will not (in fact of law, have not been able to ) take it from me using a failed and dead process from years ago. And you will not put one of our 17 year guys behind a new hire. Not going to happen. If you find that evil, find me untrustworthy, find me without a soul; then so be it. I see no downside for me in your thought process, in fact I don't care.
There are no celestial truths or defining evils here. You want something you stumbled across during the misery following 911. You have been denied. You (nor I) personally had nothing to do with whether either company survived, whether one company saved the other, or even where you got hired (which judging by you age was obviously not your first choice)

Under Nic were the west not allowed to bid the widebody?Sorry, but I don't see your point. If that was always yours and you were a widebody captain at the time of the merger, what was the problem? Under the Nic the east widebody postions were protected. Just like in the upcoming APA merger their widebodies will be protected.

But that is not the argument some made. We were told that a furloughed pilot personally sacrificed to save the company. Are you saying that was false? That seat has always been mine up until now, and that may not continue.
