I believe that APA doesn't want this to go to arbitration. They have seen what a "Nicolau" type of award could do to them. I believe that APA should protect their interests (wide bodies). I think if USAPA agrees to let APA protect their interests that we will have a negotiated seniority list instead of an arbitrated one.

Their lawyer has already briefed their board to expect an integration ala NWA/DAL.

What is there to think about? You just quoted posts from a bunch of pilots who have even less knowledge of what's going on with our situation than some of our most disengaged pilots. Why would we or the west even care what they have to say? The statement that this isn't going into arbitration shows their lack of knowledge and common sense. What entity wouldn't want to unload the burden of a SLI onto a three-man panel and avoid any litigation associated with the final list? The APA will be running for that cover faster than you can say "Nicolau."

Why? Because I am in "the know". I do know the players at APA. The APA wasn't scared of the Marty Harper letter (plea for help). And you aren't fooling anyone pretending to be an East pilot.

I hope you feel better now as both an "insider" and someone who just can't be fooled. I guess that's it, Gunther has the inside track and he says everything is going to be OK because that's what APA pilots are posting on their board.

Hard to have much respect for you when you pretend to be an East pilot and are so obviously a West pilot. I have respect for Clear, Nic4us, and even Move2CLT to say their peace. They don't try to hide who they are. You on the other hand pretend to be something that you are not.

If you're willing to accept the Nicolau it will be. But the way some of us are going about as though the Nicolau is no longer an issue is not going to come across as OK. And with all the information regarding Plan B coming out of the USAPA office, I think a ton of AFO's are going to never be OK.

While I may not agree with Dan or Chip, they have never tried to be deceptive about who they are or what they stand for. So yes, I respect their right to speak their mind.

There are only about 5 East pilots that would say this. You aren't one of them. Even if its Nic, it will be down the road ( not anytime soon) and it will be extremely diluted by the merger and the attrition.
