Power grab? What power!

The East pilots were trying to preserve east jobs based on east pilot retirements. A reasonable and fair goal.

If you read what I said carefully, you'll see that I agree that perhaps you could have and should have captured more of East's attrition to preserve that for the east furloughs. But to do that the merger committee needed to remove DOH from their request. They did not.

As for the power grab, I am referring to the attempt to grab more than relative seniority, and position themselves as high as possible for the next merger attempt.
