AMFA Drive started in Tulsa ?

Ok, So let me get this straight.. The unions do not hire, fire or retire employees but they will agree to outsource and trade jobs for wages. Just saying... I think that is what I am hearing. Lets be the highest paid AMT's but we are only going to employee 2000. Im thinking I'll take the fifth highest paid and 9000 Amt's. Still have not received the AMFA numbers I am looking for. AMFA is highest paid but when all the numbers equal 1/3 of AA's AMT's who cares. Most of us will not have a job !

Check out your current raping that is going to leave you at 8th or worst in pay with 35%-40% outsource on top of what is currently outsourced.

Your dream of 5th in pay and 9000 AMT's is a pipe dream.

It is not AMFA that is causing the outsource of your job, it is two things, lazy unaccountable relative laced work force combined with overseas repair facilities.

Again, hold the TWU to the same standard you keep attempting to hold AMFA to and tell me the results you get.

Are you so brain washed that you cannot see TWU truth when it is right in front of you?

I am starting to see the real issue here, and that is that you are about to be RIF'd, and you want to blame me, AMFA, or anyone else other than your current representation. That crap will not fly anymore.

Who cares that's exactly the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!,You won't have one anyway if your thinking along those lines.

I must ask Nitronutt are you TWU officer? If not, you speak as if you were once an AMFA member that was not dealt with fairly? From what facts do you base your comments? If you are talking from nothing else but hearsay and secondhand word of mouth, you know nothing of which to speak. Again I say use that empty space between your ears and get some true facts before you continue on. The alternative is, keep drinking the cool-aid

Informer, Im thinking you might be right on the case I want to blame AMFA. They were in charge and agreed to allow the outsourcing of jobs for pay. So, thousands of jobs were traded for a greater hourly wage ! Sounds like AMFA adopted some corporate policies. Hmm.. Not sounding like its for the love of the craft !

Nitronutt in the case on which you speak, was it the union or the members that decided on the course of action you speak? I think the answer might surprise you. PUT DOWN THE COOL-AID

The TWU suggested that we pick the least of the 2 evils. Due to the backlash from the suggested YES vote on the 2003 contract, the TWU opted to put out the info with the hope the membership would make the right decision...ie Yes Now, we sit waiting on a judge to decide our fate as our families continue suffer and lives are put on hold. The foolishness of the membership thinking " we will let the judge decide, we will come out better " Yea, sure

You are a real piece of work. Maybe you can request James C Little to pull off another "without further ratification" and save your ass from layoff, and you will live happily ever after.

I get the feeling, AA will not miss one minute of productivity as you leave the property. Ever think about that be why you are leaving?

Now that I know you much better....good riddance

Need more cards at AFW, its good to have help this time, especially from the hanger.

I guess this means we are in total disagreement ? We all need the numbers or we all will be at risk ! Brother, we need to find common ground we all can agree on and Unite as one.

Sign a AMFA card and bring this to a vote, then you will have common ground. Until then, your pissing up a rope.

What is your seniority year?

Most of us have been attempting the way of TWU Industrial Unionism for well over twenty years. The TWU method has not achieved anything for the mechanics in my 28 years. Shouldn't I attempt to better myself? or Should I accept whatever the company and union determine what is best for me? Your strength in numbers theory has achieved so much.

It appears that if you are on this forum and speak out against or ask tough questions about AMFA you are an out cast ! Maybe we should all attend more TWU union meetings and get more involved. I think the outcome could be more positive for all

Listen most of us on this forum have taken the path you are suggesting, it has not achieved anything.

So, its your belief with the TWU that you have never made any gains ? The TWU is doing the best that they can in this economic downturn. Outside of AA it is very bleak for the AMT, many claim the wages are so much higher but the employment numbers are so many fewer !

The twu does not want people to attend!!

Meetings would be packed if people thought they had a chance of being listened to. Its the years and decades of the twu and ALL industrial unions doing what is good for them and not the members why people feel why bother, I try to get involved and they just outcast me.
